  1. I didn't say they WERE Bolognese, but the fact is that RCL's Bolognese really isn't anything special, IMO.
  2. Seattle to Ensenada is 1432 nautical miles. Getting there and back would take six days at 20 knots average speed.
  3. How does that help with ALASKA sailings from Seattle?
  4. The trip out of Seattle requires a stop at a foreign port (Jones Act), so Victoria is included as a stop on those itineraries. No Canadian port = no Alaska cruises under current regulations.
  5. It's slightly better than Ragu, on a par with Prego. And to my taste, they overcook most of their pasta. But then again, I'm no @Matt
  6. We obtained second official copies of all our vital documents for just this reason. When our grandchildren were born, we purchased an extra copy for us to keep.
  7. Short cruise combined with a few days at WDW certainly sounds like the early days of Disney Cruise Lines. One week vacation where you have 3 (or 4) days at WDW followed by 4 (or 3) on the ship (or ship first followed by WDW). Stops would have included Nassau, Hamilton (if 4 night cruise), and Castaway Cay. If you don't remember what line and it WAS Disney, you were VERY young because it's a memorable cruise experience for kids 5 and up.
  8. @monctonguywas referring to cruising on Grandeur out of Baltimore. About 900 miles, so a two day drive. Tolls, gas, meals, and one overnight hotel stay each way is less expensive than flying round trip.
  9. Those same folks probably love Sorrento's.
  10. Pushing in front of you at the Windjammer buffet.
  11. Great video. And the best part is that they are fellow 12s!
  12. MeTV every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. Eastern. I'm a big M*A*S*H fan and The Love Boat is going off when I turn that on at 7:00 if watching on Sunday.
  13. Watched it once. Two hours I'll never get back. Much better use of time is to watch various YouTube videos of people's time onboard various ships.
  14. In other words, you want a return to what they had prior to about 2010.
  15. @coneyraven just reminded me of this classic. Why was six afraid of seven? Because seven eight nine.
  16. Was never interested in the concept of cruising. Then my in-laws, who had taken the entire extended family on a couple trips to all-inclusives of their choosing let their four daughters select the next big family trip. They chose a cruise to Bermuda. Based on that experience, I went from "not interested" to "this is a great way to travel" rather quickly.
  17. Also a lamb shank that was excessively fatty. Tried sending it back - the replacement was tough (which is REALLY hard to achieve with lamb).
  18. I thought on this cruise it was always 5:00.
  19. Won't work - too many (mostly older)people without smartphones and those of us who choose to unplug while on vacation will also create a logjam. They would have to provide those little table-top kiosks used in some restaurants (and teach a decent portion of their clientele how to use them). Think of all the sanitizing required, too.
  20. Correction - that's one of ten Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) conferences that cancelled. To date 11 of the 23 Division I conferences have cancelled - Big Sky, Colonial, Ivy, Mid-east Athletic, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Patriot, Pioneer, and Southwestern Athletic of the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) - the highest level of college football with an NCAA Championship all cancelled before the MAC.
  21. An opportunity for the US government to "look good" to us as constituents. "Hey, WE'RE not the ones keeping you from travelling!"
