I saw this and laughed this morning. I'll wait til it goes down or not get it at all. It's so much more expensive than yesterday that it's laughable.

Noticed it too. Also noticed the "sale" - most things were more expensive today than yesterday pre "sale".

I'm sure i'm an outlier but the last time I was at Cape Liberty on the way home the machines were down for over an hour - if you had cash you could leave, if not, you had to wait until they were back up. I'd also suggest having a jacket or something warm just in case if it's not summer. The day I got stuck I didn't have anything and it was October. I was cold. I wound up just having enough cash.

It's not worth it. I have it. You'd do better with another card with better rewards.

I always tip the stateroom attendant, that's a given for me, I start at a few dollars a day and go from there depending on service. Bartenders and servers will get for good service. If you remember my name/drink order or make it a point to be extra helpful I tip for that. I bring a certain amount just for tipping purposes. I think everyone should do whatever they feel, this is just what makes me feel good.

I didn't realize that's what it was called but I rebooked in March with cruise credits and got the $$ in my planner for each one as they went through. About a week after I originally booked.

Do we need to do this? We're never gonna all agree. It's all been said a million times on and off here. Just leave it to facts about vaxx requirements...

I work for the network to make the show okay for basic cable. Read scripts, work with the show people to make certain scenes/language okay for the rating.

100% agree with Matt and here a few things to note: Times Square hotels are ridiculously expensive so make sure you research that. If you get a good deal it's worth it. What is the plan to get from Times Square to Cape Liberty? Are you driving? What day of the week is it? Every day is busy over there but there is usually a sweet spot on Sunday mornings where there is way less traffic but this is early morning. If you do a car service or something like Uber, book in advance. Newark isn't the best area of NJ...so for real, don't expect to be able to walk places from your hotel. for reference I work in NYC and live on Long Island. I don't know how long it takes to get from NYC to Cape Liberty. When you check, I'd check times of the day and days of the week to get a better idea.

Traveling with a lot of people is fun but there are drawbacks and there are always people who will complain about every little thing. My last group cruise 3 of us, including myself, got sick and somehow us three were the least of the complainers. We took our cold and sinus meds and powered through because that's what you do. Good that you separated your family. Enjoyed reading.

Same but slightly different issue. Canceled cruise in late December/early January. My (mei) TA had to do some digging for my reg FCC's and got them. I had only been issued one out of 3 or 4. Now I'm waiting on my onboard credits which add up to almost $1400. I'd like to burn it all on my next cruise but I'm not 100% I'll get it. Like so many of us I finally bit the bullet to make up for all my lost cruises due to the pandemic. Between work and not wanting to sail solo after basically being alone for 2 years my friend asked to join and I'm excited, I wanna make this fun for us.

I've had mixed reviews on coffee and it depends on the ship and I guess who makes it. A bunch of us on Harmony all had different takes in the coffee, some hated, some loved. Anthem was good but I had the coffee card so I wound up usually getting the specialty coffee. My experience is it's dirt water or good.

I always download a few on my kindle fire just in case. It's nice to have a movie or a show to fall back on before bed.
