I love the way you cruise.   I’m taking notes.  Only thing I’m a solo cruiser most of the time.  Cruising only out of Jersey to save as I live in Philly.  Take the train for about 30-40 round trip.   Will be Diamond in May on Icon (family trip).  Looking forward to my drink vouchers and using my hubby’s. He got the DBP.

I'm flattered. Not sure I've ever heard someone say they were taking notes on my posts, lol, but glad I could help. I like how I cruise too. 😁

Congrats in advance on turning Diamond! It was a big deal to me and I'm looking forward to D+ after next week's cruise but the jump to D is the big one, IMO.

I grew up in the Philly 'burbs btw if you've never seen me mention that.

Driving to the port is the BEST, and that doesn't make a blog boring!

I just meant I wouldn't have much to share during the week before.

And i loved Capt Bob's! Have so much fun!

One trip there was about 30 of us or so and one of my friends got Capt Bob to dedicate two of his boats, just for us. And she negotiated both boats have rum punch as well as beer, soda, and water.

That's great! When I was e-mailing Bob I asked about the rum I saw people mention in recent TripAdvisor reviews. He said they have it aboard now but nothing mixed (I guess it's rum & coke or shots). I'd prefer rum punch but not a big deal. In 2017 it was just beer and soft drinks. I still remember being tossed a can while floating in the ocean.

    Tomorrow is UK night...

We don't have UK night on the standard 7N cruises I take. There was UK night in the WJ on Indy a couple years ago (possibly b/c it had spent several seasons over there). I sent pics of 5-6 items to my English friend... he was less than impressed, lol.

Outside of fish n chips and shepherd/cottage pie, I can't say I know a ton about UK food. Some of it tasted fine to me, some not so much, but that sums up the WJ on any night. Looking forward to what they have and pics of what you get.

TODAY IS CREPE STATION NIGHT! It's my favorite station they do, I'm SO glad I caught it.

This is a perfect example of why I like to pop into the WJ even if I had dinner in the MDR (we do early seating). Sure the app has the theme nowadays but you never know when you might find an item or two you really like. Big fan of the crepes too, btw.

Back in the day there used to be more unique items that would only appear once but I still think it’s worth checking out.

Does the Music Hall on Wonder have a bar?

Yes with a bunch of music-themed cocktails. Other Oasis-class ships basically have the same venue but it's called Dazzles. We never really spent any time there but when I was with extended family on Wonder last June they wanted to go so we listened to music for like an hour.

Trivia on Q-class is usually in the Music Hall or Schooner Bar.

It can get pretty crowded depending on the trivia. If it's something like Harry Potter - you bet everyone and their grandmother will show up for it. Or if it's something like Star Wars/Game of Thrones.

The Music Hall is 2 levels in the Q-class and is connected to Casino Royale.

OK, so not all that different. It's 2 stories on Wonder too but nowhere near the casino and just looks different from your pic. They do have certain trivias and name that tunes there but the others seem crowded no matter what the topic.

It's honestly not that bad when it's early and there's not many people.

It's not bad at all if you're there early. Same goes for embarkation day lunch. I'm usually there as soon as it opens and it's not remotely crowded. It takes time for people to board, wander, take care of certain things, figure out where everything is if they're new, etc.

I'm not trying to convince others to go there; a lot of the time it is very crowded... just not always like some believe.
