  1. You can use Cruise with Confidence up to 48 hours prior to sailing. This way you literally can wait until the last minute to decide. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-with-confidence
  2. My mind went right to the movie, “Step Brothers.” ? Murphy beds would allow more room for activities!
  3. I would “practice” at home with a q-tip a few times so your 4 year old won’t freak out.
  4. I was never great in math but I figured this one out fast! ? As soon as they extended to December, that suddenly included our 12 night Holy Land in October which bumped us to 24 points. Instead of being 26 shy of Plus, we were now only 14! It was either a 4 night in a JS on Mariner or a 7 night on Harmony. No contest! Harmony all the way!
  5. It’s like Christmas Eve waiting for Santa!
  6. I actually just booked us on Harmony for next March in a CP balcony. It’s next to living wall but not one of the double balconies. I chose it because we booked this cruise to get us to Diamond Plus and wanted to save money. We can drive to PC too. We’ve got 3 others booked, two of which are bucket list and emptying the wallet! Lol We really couldn’t pass up double points, so booked Harmony. We have had a CP balcony before on Oasis. Also a March cruise. It was very pleasant to sit out there while at sea. You didn’t get blown away. The only downside is you’re close to your neighbors across the way, but not enough of a bother to not book one. We prefer ocean balcony but again, we were looking to save a few bucks. Have not done a boardwalk and really no desire to.
  7. It is odd how some open for check in and others don’t. Hopefully yours will soon. In the app it gave me a check in date. Online just said not available. Have you checked the app for a check in date?
  8. Gosh it’s been a long time! Got up early this morning and checked us in for our late October Symphony. Yippee! Exactly 90 days out. It feels real!
  9. Marc “Bing Bong” Walker (CD) just posted that the water park is free! @Matt and @twangster y’all have to do Dueling Demons!
  10. If she’s just wearing a short cocktail dress, I’d just do a blazer with khakis and a tie. You can wear the khakis a few times to dinner too with a polo etc.
  11. Does Royal allow you to “gift” your vouchers? We have Symphony coming up and we have the DBP and I was wondering if we’re allowed to use our vouchers to “buy” someone a drink. I think it’d be fun to be a drink fairy and say send 2 glasses of champagne to a couple at dinner or send a fruity drink to a frazzled mom herding her kids at the pool.
  12. I hope the passengers buy lots of stuff! Poor Alaska really has suffered financially through this whole thing
  13. The importance of this to me is the future. Does this now tie the CDC’s hands and not allow them to shut the cruise lines down again?
  14. Michael Bayley just posted Reuters article. A federal appeals court late on Friday reversed course and let stand a lower court order prohibiting the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from enforcing coronavirus-related cruise ship restrictions in Florida. I can’t link it. Found a yahoo link https://www.google.com/amp/s/news.yahoo.com/amphtml/1-u-appeals-court-lifts-223920905.html
  15. After our excursion was cancelled to Nevis (ferry broke down), we got a tour from a guy named Sully (I can get his info if interested). We still wanted to go to Nevis, so he made a call to a friend. We did an island tour on our way to a private ferry. Stopped at Timothy Hill (don’t touch the monkeys!) then came upon a pier. We loaded into a brand new ferry boat and crossed over to this super small resort on Nevis. (Not kidding maybe a total of 24 people). We had our own private beach with bar complete with a baby cow that came running through followed soon after by his mama looking for him. It certainly was off the beaten path and we had a blast!

I really only use Facebook for the cruise groups and cancer groups. I don’t do a whole lot with the “social” part of it. It really is great for groups. Just stay off your newsfeed lol
  17. RC policy though is North America and Caribbean. That would include the Bahamas no? Just don’t be disappointed if they cancel 2 of them. Let us know if they allowed it.
  18. Hmmmmm…….so if no masks outdoors, would that include Central Park and Boardwalk?
  19. November seems to be the month they release July through December sailings.
  20. November-ish is what I remember for the rest of the year. I think bookings are open through April right now.
  21. Just wondering how you got the deluxe beverage package for those under 21? All sailings out of North America and the Caribbean the drinking age is 21.
  22. My favorite by the pool is a Caipirinha https://braziliankitchenabroad.com/how-to-make-caipirinha/
  23. It’s pretty worrisome here in Jax. My friend’s husband (who’s had 2 heart attacks and a bypass) was sent home with Covid because there were no beds at Baptist South. Mayo and Memorial also were full. His cardiologist got him into Flagler for an antibody infusion and he’s turned around.
  24. I’ll positive-vibe with you even with my Debby Downer post above. We sail late October
