  1. Still on schedule for 5:00? Plan on watching! https://www.portevergladeswebcam.com/?fbclid=IwAR3Sr1_tLWJONF3p41_kRzMtX0KkJX8hO9OzIYxXH3p23UmXpl4ZSESvQZk
  2. Thanks I figured it was somewhere in there. I don’t see testing going away until the pandemic is officially over (which may never happen Lol)
  3. I just went through the link above and saw nothing concerning pre-cruise testing of passengers. Hmmmm
  4. This is what we’re doing for Alaska and Holy Land/Greece cruises this year. We’re not buying a drink package because it’s port intensive and we get 4 drinks a day with our C&A status. Will be bringing refillable bottles from home. Ships water (from all sources onboard) is reverse osmosis and tastes fine.
  5. I need to keep this in mind for Santorini. I haven’t tendered since St Maarten back in the 90’s! Lol
  6. Hmmmm then my tag for Wonder is wrong. It’s got the front right shaded where it should be mid. @PG Cruiser this happened to you too right? Nothing to worry about right?
  7. What do we do while waiting for our Alaska cruise this May? We sail Wonder in March! It really helps take the edge off
  8. Our 4 this year were booked very early and so far have gotten over $3,000 in reductions in 3 of the 4 (Alaska has never seen a reduction). The past several sales have yielded nothing but higher prices. It does pay to check often.
  9. Sharla moved my March Harmony to March Wonder. I still have the same reservation number. Just moved the deposit. Still double points
  10. We also have an app called “bedtime fan” that sounds just like our white noise machine at home.
  11. I hope Golden Room reverts back to Jazz on 4. That’s one of our favorites
  12. We pre-pay. At the end of the cruise we will tip those that have served us well over the week. In addition, if we do any specialty dining, we always tip our wait staff.
  13. Our flights were booked about 6 weeks ago to Rome using Air2Sea. We’re on American, main cabin and our flights were a little over $1k each.
  14. So I guess NCL will not be participating since they dropped masks all together? I think it’s time the industry gives the CDC the middle finger. CLIA had a pretty scathing response to the CDC again issuing warnings not to cruise.
  15. I’ve got #1688 bookmarked on Adventure as it is a HUGE cabin. I’m assuming it’s the same on Explorer. Can’t help with the Windjammer thing but I’ll get to experience being under the outside seating of Windjammer on Radiance this May.
  16. We drove from FLL to Miami in October. Left at 11:00 for noon check in. Parked in garage by 11:30. We were in the building checking in at 11:45.
  17. That’s what I thought too but this is the place for rumors!
  18. So to add to the mystery……looks like a mini oasis class. From an Icon group on Facebook
  19. We are between St Augustine and Jacksonville in North Florida. We actually have a change of seasons here and very few snowbirds. We are 2 hours to Port Canaveral, 4 to Fort Lauderdale and 4 1/2-5 from Miami depending on traffic. I’d personally look around the Space Coast. Melbourne etc. That would put you basically at Canaveral and then just 2-3 hours to Everglades and Miami. Prices will be more reasonable. You’ll also be close to I-4 (or Bee line) to shoot over to Tampa.
  20. A few weeks ago here in Florida, Royal was saturating TV spots. Carnival had 2 spots going (which weren’t very good). Recently Carnival added a new one featuring their roller coaster. Disney has joined in and Virgin had one on last night with Madonna’s sing, Like a Virgin. Can’t remember any from NCL. Royal’s to me have been the best because they’re highlighting ports. Sunshine, beaches, Alaska etc. Disney is second. Carnival and Virgin didn’t keep my attention at all. Like a Virgin made me look, but it just showed the pretty people.
  21. We were off Symphony at 7:15. You’ll have to carry all your luggage off. Like Matt said, you’re at the mercy of whenever the ship gets cleared. I would say the odds are in your favor but you never know. You’ll get info in your cabin on day 3 or 4 asking if you will do self debark and you can pick your time. 7-7:30 or 9-9:30. We forgot to do this but walked off at 7:15 with no issues and no waiting. I think they ask for flight times too. I didn’t pay attention to that because we drove. I really hope they keep this system of embark and debark times. Granted it was with reduced capacity but both ends were seamless and quick.
