  1. Freedom and Adventure are both large ships, whereas Serenade is a smaller ship. That being said, size alone isn't the entire premise of what makes a ship great or not. Kids or no kids on this cruise? I'd also say the itinerary each ship is doing may be a big factor in picking one over the other.
  2. Yes, this was from the Memorial Day sale last week
  3. I believe Stephanie is referring to the debate between Traditional Dining and My Time Dining.
  4. They usually kick you out of your cabin much earlier than the last disembarkation times. Which port are you disembarking from? Generally speaking, if you are among the first or last to disembark, you can avoid the bulk of the lines. Then again, some ports mitigate the lines at Customs better than others.
  5. Here's a Cruise Compass from Anthem of the Seas 9-night New England & Canada cruise: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/cruise-compasses/anthem-of-the-seas/thu-2016-09-08-0000 Might give you an idea of what to expect.
  6. I think when the ships are no longer the focal point of TV commercials.
  7. I agree. A TA with experience in cruises and/or Royal Caribbean can make a big difference.
  8. FWIW, I've brought back bakery items from Cozumel. Security only seems concerned with people that bring back alcohol
  9. Thanks for sharing the review. Sorry to hear that some of the amenities that were included in the past are no longer part of the offering.
  10. Did you book with a travel agent? Linking reservations is something they can do for you
  11. I have not see anything about that. Even when they had the corkage fee, in my experience they actually charged me the corkage fee perhaps 50% of the time.
  12. You will pay a premium for a new ship. We see that here with Harmony of the Seas. Nature of the beast. Also, I can find negative feedback on just about anything. Don't read into it. I think the bottom line is if you want the latest and greatest (Ovation), then you will pay a higher price than for a ship that's been around the block a few times.
  13. I did the Prohibition Party in 2016 and really enjoyed it: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/04/27/experiences-prohibition-party-royal-caribbeans-allure-of-the-seas
  14. 150 Central Park is wonderful and a great choice for a celebration. Frankly, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. If your group enjoys drinking, I might pick Sabor. If you want a show, Izumi Hibachi or Wonderland are great. And if you just want a refined meal with friends and family, 150 CP or Chops works.
  15. What is the source of that OBC? If it's from NextCruise, then it will follow you. But if the OBC came from a booking promotion from when you originally booked the first cruise, then no, you will lose it
  16. Yup, that's no problem. We usually bring snacks to have in the room for the girls, like crackers
  17. This page might be helpful: http://cruisefalmouthjamaica.com/golf.htm
  18. Keep in mind you only have up to 60 days after booking the cruise to transfer. I wrote this blog post about why to use a travel agent: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/06/15/why-first-time-cruisers-should-use-royal-caribbean-travel-agent
  19. I've never used the RC credit card, so not sure how it works with redeeming them via the Cruise Planner.
