Eyeonhevn Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 We are 2 weeks out from a 7 night cruise on ICON and the calendar on the app is filled out - Shows these events: Day 1: Casual Day 2: Wear your best Day 3: Casual Day 4: casual with Caribbean twist Day 5:Casual Day 6: Wear your white (Says Break out your crisp elegant attire) <--in this the second formal night?) Day 7: Casual Thanks for your help! We've always had 2 formal nights - and a white night too. Is this the norm now? Quote
smokeybandit Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 The name varies now, but yes that's the 2nd formal night. Then again any night can be formal night if you want it to be. Mrs. Thomas 1 Quote
Woody14 Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 The name has changed from formal night to wear your best. it is the same thing but is more reflective of the change in dressing up culture for dinner. Still like the old formal night better as it created a great vibe on board but you can still dress up as nice as you want with out worries. Quote
Doug_Texas Posted February 7 Report Posted February 7 On all RCL ships they use both “Formal Night” and “Dress to Impress” terms. They are both pretty meaningless. WAAAYTOOO and dejavu21 2 Quote

Pattycruise Posted February 8 Report Posted February 8 “Break out your crisp elegant attire” sure does sound like the second “formal/dress your best”. I’ve never seen it listed this way. Maybe it’s an icon thing. dejavu21 1 Quote

We did not do the White, because we didnt see it pre-cruise, but I really liked the change. Everyone was dressed nice. Quote
need2cruz Posted February 8 Report Posted February 8 On our cruise last week the second formal night said, "dress your best or 70s attire". We did not have a white night on our 8 night sailing. I was impressed at how many people did wear. full out 70s attire. WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
Eyeonhevn Posted March 4 Author Report Posted March 4 So I can report back now that I'm home from my cruise. The APP's calendar was wrong pre-cruise. Once we were on the ship and a few days in, we looked again at the calendar and noticed it had changed. There were two "formal/ dressyour best" nights (night 2 and night 6) and separate white night was night 5. Caribbean night was night 3. Somehow pre-cruise the calendar was incorrect....
