Re-pricing a booking not allowed?

I thought, indeed, I recall re-pricing a booking when 've seen a lower price advertised.

Having just tried to do this via club royale they've told me I cannot?

Are you located in the US? I have a booking through Club Royale that I have repriced several times. Perhaps call again and try with another agent.

So I called back and the answer is still NO. 

 

There is a 48 hour policy for rebooking, IE, you cannot rebook if more than 48 hours after your original booking. Or last booking, not sure, same problem though.

I can't speak for Casino Royale bookings, but this is a good reason to use a good travel agent because they can do it if you're before final payment and a resident of certain countries (US, Canada).

If you booked with a certificate through club Royale, often times they will not reprice. Even if it is just money off or you upgraded. But I would call once more and ask in a particular manner, such as "I noticed the cost of ......has gone down, can my booking reflect that?" They may try to see what they can do but if it is a comped cruise, you might be out of luck. It also has something to do with those offers expiring.

Anytime before final payment deadline you can reprice.   If you’ve paid in full before the final payment deadline you can expect a credit like OBC for the difference.

Unfortunately I'm from Mud Island (Britain) and I'm under 50 so unsurprisingly nothing good ever happens to us! 

I've found Club Royale to be completely pointless so far, even with Prime membership.

You are probably booked under UK/European rules then (not sure if those are same/different) which are more restrictive due to better consumer protections laws.  That's good for you in some ways but bad in others.  I think lack of repricing is one of the bad side effects but I'm not certain.

Just wanted to comment that repricing is definitely available thru club royale in the US.

I was denied at repricing as well with Club Royale but my cruise was past final payment date.  I assume that was the reason.

I have re-priced 2 casino bookings recently and received refunds back to my CC for the fare differences in both cases. In both cases it was prior to final payment date.
