Bridgetbien
Back from freedom! All my fears and anxiety were for nothing. The cruise was mostly great, staff is amazing, guests were nice! I do have to say, I was shocked at people smoking (and smoking weed) on the balconies. My husband and I tried to eat breakfast out there every morning but were overwhelmed by the smoke/weed smell. It was a bummer. I know a three day cruise is more party but come on. We never alerted staff because we couldn’t pinpoint where it was from. Is it always like this? Va4fam
When we sailed from California earlier this year, we heard Navigator affectionately referred to as the "Weed of the Seas" Seems to be prevalent everywhere. Glad you had amazing cruise. WAAAYTOOO
Ampurp85
Shorter cruises do attract a different crowd. But the smoke/weed smell is becoming a thing. We saw and smelled plenty of people smoking on our 7n Allure sailing. WAAAYTOOO

PPPJJ-GCVAB
Happy to report our Independence current cruise seems to be void of this…unless it just happens to be the location of our balcony? Haven’t walked past any areas though with that going on…thank goodness! On the other hand we still have 3 nights and 2 days to go so….we’ll just have to see. Smoking in non-smoking areas is a real problem these days, especially on short cruises. I was on Independence and there was a group of guys vaping in the pub.
