Bridgetbien
How is daylight savings handled on a cruise? I'm on a 3 day Freedom sailing out of Miami and will be on the ship during the "fall back" of daylight savings. Is it observed or will it "reset" when we get to Miami? -Bridget
OCSC Mike
I'm guessing you will observe it and ship time will fall back just like changing time zones but just a guess. RCIfan1912
Xaa
Captain will decide. U was on a cruise for the spring change. Cruise ended on a Sunday. Instead of the Sat night change, Captain changed it Friday night. I assume to avoid disembarkation problems. Vancity Cruiser
You should get a prorated discount as you lose an hour of time on the ship WAAAYTOOO, Neesa, CrimsonCruiser and 4 others
JasonOasis
The ship will observe daylights savings they will have some signage the on the day of. However as another person posted the ship may observe the time change a day earlier than or on the same day that we observe it on land, but it is the captains decisions. Does that mean I have to pay extra?
