CrimsonCruiser
Looking for clarification: do you get the crystal block for the cruise on which you cross the 140 threshold or on the first cruise AFTER? We're due to cross 140 on the 2025 cruise we're planning and if we're getting the block for that cruise we want to book a ship that we want to stare at often

So if you are due to pass 140 on your next cruise, you will get it on your next cruise !!!

Followed up with phone calls and again when on Freedom in June 2023 (when she DID get her block for 210). Still no Mariner block from the 140 cruise. Jzx1103
My 210 will be August on Utopia, a brand new ship at the time. Wonder if they have the crystal blocks available. WAAAYTOOO
WAYNO
My Wife just got off Oasis yesterday. I've not paid any attention to the criteria for additional blocks, but this was in her room. Not to be a gift-horse basher, I will just say this newest glass block is different than the previous version. WAAAYTOOO

I know there's an article by Matt floating around. I've gotten used to the new look but still think the simple etching of the old one was more classy. FOB
We have a bit of a difficulty with this. we are booked on Ovation for an 18 night transpacific cruise in October which will take us to 139 however I have been told that, because we cross the date line going west we will actually be credited with 19 points (the system does it automatically and 13th October to 1st November is 19 nights on a calendar) but apparently it takes the system some time to work out this extra day will be added so should I ask for the block on ovation or do I wait and see if they have missed us completely when I get onto odyssey in April? thoughts would be appreciated

See if they have you on the list for a block on that cruise.

I'm not saying it isn't true, just never heard that before. Note to self, book more fall transpacs. So does a transpac in other direction get one less point? I would have thought it was nights with your head on a pillow on a ship. I'd ask the LA on the ship. If your account settles at 140 by whatever means after the transpac the next LA on the next cruise will assume you got a block on your 140 ship. Got screen shots from multiple folk in the ovation fb group who have done it (some more than once) and been given the extra night. given that everything is computerised I am not surprised that it would happen because it’s the only cruise there is where the number of calendar nights is more than the number of nights on the ship. as to how it works the other way when the calendar nights is less than the number of nights on the ship I didn’t ask because it didn’t apply for me (sorry)
