Beth M
I just spent $2200 for a cruise on Royal Carribean Independence of the Seas. The staff was awesome. The interior room was small but kept clean by the staff. The main problem, Ilove water slides. You had to pay ridiculous amount of money extra for Coco Bay water park. I didn't go on a hiday weekend. $2100, outrageous. The slide on the ship, had to wait an hour to get on it, so I didn't wait in 95 degree weather. I spent all this money and will never go on a cruise again. I could have used the money for a nice hotel for the 3 nights, got a message and went on a waterside 50 times without having to wait. Never again. DDaley and Ryan79
Ampurp85
Sorry for your experience but this probably should have not been post in the live blog area. Also, if I was spending $2100/2200, I would have checked all of this beforehand. OCSC Mike
DDaley
You’re saying the Thrill Waterpark tickets were $1,050.00 per person??? Highest I’ve seen em go is $150, kinda seems like maybe you’re over exaggerating?
Xaa
Yeah, seemed like at least a typo. PDCC Thrill Waterpark has gone up but not that much!
Ryan79
Unfortunately there are going to be other people on the ship who will also want to use things like the on board water slides. Not sure what you think the ship could have done about other people wanting to do the same thing as you at the same time. As for the PDCC slides, this is not something that is kept secret that you have to pay for. You could have found this out quite easily before you booked. smokeybandit
If your main focal point of cruising is water slides. Then yes, maybe cruising isn't for you Ampurp85 and teddy

Go during Mid Winter when the line for the water slides will be MUCH shorter?
