Paying Royal to excursion on my own🤣

Saw this offered on my upcoming Harmony cruise and just had to share the laughs. Royal must really be aching for money to charge me $69 to fend for myself

$69 for transportation to St. John and back. At least those folks won't get left behind if the transport is late getting back.

That’s the key point, if the transport is late. However if the cruiser is on their own doing whatever and they miss the transport, then they are screwed.

That's one of two reasons why we booked it on our last cruise. The other was to go up to the Windmill Bar for lunch, which was stunning.

The ferry back to St Thomas left precisely at 2:30 pm.  Good thing we planned to get back to the port an hour before, as our taxi driver had trouble starting his vehicle. After a couple of minutes cranking the motor, it finally started. Plan B would have been to walk back if we couldn't get another ride.
