tbruin3235
We have a 2 bedroom suite booked with 2 reservation numbers. When we originally booked, it was my sister and I in a crown loft suite, and my nephew and his 2 minor kids were in a balcony guarantee. When a 2 bedroom Grand suite became available we switched both bookings to the suite, which resulted in my nephew, his kids, and my sister on one reservation number, and me alone on another reservation number. He wanted to add his girlfriend so she has ended up on my reservation number. I asked my TA if he could change it so my nephew, his 2 kids, and his girlfriend were on the one reservation#, and my sister and I on the other, but he said it couldn't be done. It's going to be a real hassle for us because my sister and I will be doing things together, and my nephew and his gang will be doing things together on their own (shows, dining, excursion, etc will all be separate). I'm not sure if my TA is telling the truth because he has grumbled and complained about having to do extra work when ever I call him about the cruises we have booked with him, so I'm not sure if he's just being lazy or telling me the truth. It's going to be a real hassle managing our cruise with how the reservations are split up. Anybody know if it's really impossible to juggle who's on what reservation # in a 2br suite, or am I being unreasonable? I'm kind of pissed that my TA is not more eager to please considering we're spending almost $20,000 on this cruise. SweetPea
Ampurp85
In all seriousness the reservation numbers and who are on them won't matter. I say this is because you are all staying in the same suite. When I did the 2BR GS I had five people and they stuck 1 on a separate reservation number. They can only put a max of 4 people on a reservation. There was no hindrance when it came to shows, dinning reservations, etc. It's also not that hard to do, just swap your sister and the girlfriend, as long as one person on the original booking stays. FireFishII
I thought you could do that as long as one person on the original reservation stays on that reservation.
tbruin3235
My main issue is the Royal Caribbean phone app. I only see my nephew's girlfriend as part of my reservation now. I don't see my nephew, his kids, or my sister at all in the app. On past cruises with my sister and I, we could check in each other in the app, pick a check-in time for each other, and print out boarding passes (I like to do this in case my phone decides to die at the terminal during check-in) and luggage tags for each other (I did most of the printing because she can never figure out how to print out things), or purchase internet or drink packages for each other. I can't see how to do that when my name isn't on the other reservation. It would be so much easier if my sister and I were on one reservation # (where I can handle all the check-in stuff for the both of us), and my nephew, his kids, and his girlfriend are on the other reservation so he can handle everything for his group. My TA managed to move my sister from our original reservation # (which is now the res# for me and my nephew's GF) onto my nephew's original reservation# when we all moved to the grand suite. He tells me just swapping my nephew's girlfriend and my sister's reservation numbers is impossible. I'm wondering if this is really impossible, or it would just be too much of an effort for my TA. Pooch
Do you have the reservations linked? We have 3 separate reservations all linked and I can see everyone and make plans/check in for them. Doesn’t have anything to do with being on the reservation only that they are linked. You can do that on the website or the app yourself. RosaB, DoomSlayer, Ampurp85 and 3 others 5
Ampurp85
I have 4 rooms linked for an upcoming cruise, I have done this plenty of times now. I can check everyone in and make any reservations. I don't think you can swap reservations numbers, but you can change the people on the reservations. You said it's you and the girlfriend on one and your sister and the rest on the other. Your TA can swap one person as long as an original passenger stays on, which is the case. Sounds like your TA doesn't want to make any effort, you might want to look into another one. FireFishII, SweetPea and Pooch
Bowen
Yep just link the reservation numbers and you can do everything for every reservation. It’ll all show up on your app like they’re all on your reservation. You can do this online without the TA having to do it, I think….

Yes, you can link the reservations yourself but you need your TA to switch names on a reservation.

Pooch
Your TA can do it but on the app page that shows your cruise reservation, click on select a different cruise, then “don’t see your cruise? Let’s add it now”. You’ll need name, birth date & reservation number. Ryan79, KristiZ and USCG Teacher
