We have a 2 bedroom suite booked with 2 reservation numbers. When we originally booked, it was my sister and I in a crown loft suite, and my nephew and his 2 minor kids were in a balcony guarantee. When a 2 bedroom Grand suite became available we switched both bookings to the suite, which resulted in my nephew, his kids, and my sister on one reservation number, and me alone on another reservation number. He wanted to add his girlfriend so she has ended up on my reservation number. I asked my TA if he could change it so my nephew, his 2 kids, and his girlfriend were on the one reservation#, and my sister and I on the other, but he said it couldn't be done. It's going to be a real hassle for us because my sister and I will be doing things together, and my nephew and his gang will be doing things together on their own (shows, dining, excursion, etc will all be separate). I'm not sure if my TA is telling the truth because he has grumbled and complained about having to do extra work when ever I call him about the cruises we have booked with him, so I'm not sure if he's just being lazy or telling me the truth. It's going to be a real hassle managing our cruise with how the reservations are split up.
Anybody know if it's really impossible to juggle who's on what reservation # in a 2br suite, or am I being unreasonable? I'm kind of pissed that my TA is not more eager to please considering we're spending almost $20,000 on this cruise.
