wordell1
I paid for cell phone coverage while in the Bahamas. Does anyone know if there is a cell phone tower that covers Coco Cay? I know to have it on airplane mode on the ship.
ConstantCruiser
There is a BTC tower on Great Stirrup Cay right next door. It covers Little Stirrup Cay (CocoCay) as well. wordell1, cruisellama and PPPJJ-GCVAB 1
JLMoran
In addition to the cell coverage, Royal has blanketed Coco Cay in high speed Wi-Fi. If you bought a VOOM package and also have Wi-Fi calling enabled with your carrier, then you can make calls just using your VOOM connection. 4ensic, wordell1, RyanS and 4 others 4
RickinSTL
In September of 2019 i had my phone in airplane mode with wifi turned on.. as soon as i walked through the gate to Coco Kay my phone started pinging, buzzing and i started to receive texts.. I looked at my wifi settings and there was an ATT hotspot on the island.. So since it was free and i didnt have voom i did a few live vids on FB lol LCinPDX, JLMoran and cruisellama 2
Nate Y
I cruised 2019 and got zero coverage on my Sprint plan in CocoCay and Nassau. I wonder if I'll get any coverage now its owned by T-Mobile.

Some Sprint phones didn't have the required LTE radio frequencies so that may have been part of the issue. Nate Y and emmef 1

I currently booked a Aliv Mifi box and they said it should be able to hold zoom video calls. Ill be going to Great Stirrup Cay next week and have a meeting that day. Not sure if you will answer but thanks in advance.
