klemire626
I printed my luggage tags however nothing was prefilled out with the exception of the D. Can I just handfill out the deck and stateroom indicated on my edocs?
rjac
Never seen this before. Do you have a guarantee room/suite?
Ampurp85
@klemire626 Is your room GTY? If you have not been assigned a stateroom then nothing would show up on the luggage tags until you do. Considering you have about 2 more weeks there is still plenty of time to reprint when your room gets assigned. If not, I am sure you can at least write your name and stateroom number for the time being. Edit I see you say you have a stateroom on your edocs. I would wait and try again, otherwise like I said you can fill them out yourself or reprint at a later date.
klemire626
I just looked again to double check and My cruise planner says room Balcony #6566 but my e docs says GTY deck 6.
Ogilthorpe
There are 2 places to print your luggage tags. One is the eDocs (cruise documents) the other is under the "view boarding pass / edit check in" selection. Perhaps one was updated and one was not after assignment. teddy and Mikeb1892

This is what I've found to be the case when we've done gty. The eDocs link isn't always up to date.
klemire626
Unfortunately both the edocs and boarding pass both have the same luggage tags. Maybe I'll just look again closer to my sail date in 2 weeks

twangster
You can simply write your cabin number on them. Luggage tags serve two purposes. The first is to ensure luggage belongs on a ship. Luggage is being offloaded, luggage is being prepared for loading, sometimes there are multiple ships nearby. The luggage tags lets everyone see a bag belongs to be put on the ship. The second is so that they can organize bags by areas. Deck and vicinity will get you luggage in the general area on your deck. The cabin number finally allows cabin attendants to move bags even closer to cabins, or for people to see what bags are theirs if there are similar looking bags in the hallway. If you simply show up at the pier they will hand write a luggage tag that is a lot more simple compared to what you are starting with above.
