There’s a great hour long documentary on changeover day from Harmony of the Seas. It’s called Sea Giants and covers from getting the Harbor Pilot on to leaving the dock with the new passengers. monorailmedic Posted May 12, 2019 Report Share Posted May 12, 2019 Yes, this is the case on every cruise line (barring rare circumstances where some extended maintenance is done of course). If the ship doesn't have guests then it's not making money - so no sense in disembarking guests by the mid-morning just to have the ship sit empty for 20+ hours. rjac Posted May 12, 2019 Report Share Posted May 12, 2019 And it's really fun to get on the ship as early as you can (even though your cabin will not bee ready) just to see the organized hustle and bustle the crew does AND to thank them while they're at it, when you can.
