Sounds like a very similar scenario that we have with @derek burgan  with 11 of us total in the group and with 3 first time cruisers. Been scouring the internet reading reviews, cruise compasses and watching every video we can find.

Just 7 more days until online check-in! Hotel - check. Final payment paid - check. Deluxe Beverage Package - check. Voom/Starlink internet+stream - check. Cabana at Cococay - check. Watching all of Matt's videos (some a few times) and live streams - check. Checking out past cruise compass and reading royalcaribbeanblog.com - check. 
Our first cruise with 3 other couples (our band) and we're all so excited. But who's counting? 😄

Sleep on the beach.  Hunt some seagulls for breakfast.

Here is how I like to add some spice to a lazy sea day:
 
Go down to the pool and take a random chair hog’s towel clips, crappy book, and grimy flip flops and switch it with another random chair hog on the opposite side of the pool. Leaving the towels cause they are all the same. I’ve found you just need to shuffle an arbitrary 5-6 of them and it takes less than two minutes to do. Oh! You see an odd number of reserved chairs like three? Make sure you do it to the one in the middle!
Then I like to grab a big cappuccino and go up to the Viking Crown. The Viking Crown offers the perfect vantage point for watching the unsuspecting chair hogs as I giggle like a school girl. 😀

We stayed one floor lower on Harmony 10327 and had great views. Going on Wonder in April and was able to get opposite side 10729. I posted some photos on this thread if you want an idea of the view from deck 10 similar area
 
 

We just booked this exact room on the opposite side on oasis 11729 (which is basically the same view). We found videos of both sides..if you Google you'll see the view from a few of the oasis class ships in those rooms

We stayed on deck 10 in the second to last room on Harmony back in 2018 and had a really great views, room 10327, had minor slide blocking a tiny portion but was able to see the show without any issue. Elevator walk isn't ideal but have had much worse as some hotels, besides, we enjoy being able to watch the show and have a back side water view so the elevator location isn't a deal breaker for us. Last photo has a good view if you are close to the center of the balcony but if I moved all the way over it was even better.
We sail on the Wonder in late April and was able to snag the last room on the opposite side this time so we are excited about that. Room 10729

We will be on this sailing as well. Our second cruise, with our first being on Harmony back in 2018. Counting the seconds until we set sail 😃

A big family group will be on this sailing! Our first time in Star Class, we're going fancy this time.

This will be our first cruise and we're going as a group of 8 people. 

We had a sailing on the Harmony that was cancelled in 2020 and eventually RCL rebooked us onto this sailing. "Can not wait" can't even accurately describe our excitement for the trip.

We were in the room right next to this room on Harmony and had a pretty good view of the show as well, was trying to get the last room but someone beat us to it. In April we are sailing on Wonder and have the last room directly across from your room and pretty excited about it 😃   Not only to you get the show but you get some great ocean/port views as well
