CGTLH got a reaction from KristiZ in Chops Grille on Icon
Menus are slowly starting to get loaded in to the app. Finally getting to see the one I was curious about.
Other thing I noticed is "Please Select One" for appetizers and "soups & salads". So I'm wondering if they are cutting down on multiple starters at Chops.

I'm glad to see Utopia will have a Bamboo Room spin-off, Pesky Parrot, in place of the Bionic Bar.

If it is anything like Celebrity's implementation, no. Once the window is open A/C is turned off.

Has anyone else notice the description in the app for Chops on Icon. It mentions a new butcher's display case and also goes into detail about offering speciality cuts, that I'm sure will be an additional charge.

For reference purposes this would be your view when in the tub...

This is where Genie vs Butler really stood out.
Yes, room service can be ordered via the butler. The butler is also the one that delivers it. Communication, breakfast was via a hang tag. For requests and such it was either in person or via phone, no electronic/text based methods. Pen and paper were in the suite making writing things down easy.
Did have to stand in line with the other Retreat guests and a few non. A section is roped off for Retreat guests. On the first Chic it is advertised as a butler escorting you to a seat. No seats were held directly as with Star class, only exception was our butler and another trying to maintain a block of 11 seats. Other nights still had the reserved section. Only the first Chic night did it really seem crowded, @AshleyDillo will have to fill in details for the last night.

Each of us were able to pick the four device option. Documentation says it should be one device per person.
Add to the confusion, few days before sailing I got a cancellation email and purchase emails from the Cruise Planner. Cancellation was for single device, purchase was two device.

Said "pink drink" was the Gingertini.
Prior to that was the Tea Leaf, no picture taken.
Between the two, I'd go with the Tea Leaf. However, I'd probably go with @AshleyDillo choice of the Sake Daiquiri.

Amazing thing in the Oceanview Cafe (the buffet) is the use of plates that aren't plastic. When dropped they actually shatter all over the place...

Bit of editing and some interpretive reading I get the impression escorted departure is offered.
Knocking off the bit talking about transfers. Maybe this is implying Retreat guests getting escorted off. Question is the escorting offered during the entire disembarkation time or only when tags 1-5 are called.
Also not having the traditional departure sheet, unknown if the use of Fine Cut is only intended for Retreat guests doing self assist.

Don't see why it would get flagged. Just keep in mind the higher than Royal prices for some of the more common items. However, think Corona might be same price.

I recall hearing in the past it could be done, going from Classic to Zero Proof. Not sure the exact process if it can be done in advance or onboard.
Celebrity also runs sales where the Classic package can be upgraded to Premium for ~$10 per person per day factoring in the gratuity as well.

Keep in mind the modern luxury version of Sorrento's is in the back part of Oceanview Cafe. Passing thru Oceanview Cafe I grabbed a quick shot of the gluten-free and dairy-free selection of late-night snacks.

Per bartender, this was the last one of the night. Thankfully, not the last of the voyage.
I had been going with the Goose Island IPA. Was told they were out and thought I heard him mention something about Dogfish. My response was just a simple request of any IPA. That was when he came back with the elusive Dogfish.
Thankfully I was trying to be smart and not lose another slot voucher, so I had few one dollar bills to provide as a "thank you".

Blu is available to Retreat guests on a walk-up basis. Aqua class guests are prioritized since it is "their" restaurant.
