  1. FYI, an ice cooler can be provided onboard. Might want to ask the Genie and decide based on answer. Also, the wet bar outside has a mini fridge/cooler as well.
  2. Only question I've ever been ask is, "Has anything changed since you've filled out the health questionnaire?"
  3. Back of the card makes it very clear: For your security, you will be asked to show this card at the gangway, when re-boarding the ship and when making purchases throughout the ship. Please keep this card with you throughout the cruise. If lost or found, notify the Guest Services Desk immediately. One could argue that this means that every purchase will require the card. However, I'm sure some discretion is given. Example embarkation day you'll typically be asked for room number until late in the afternoon. Finally, you'd also think the person getting charged and signing would verify details. However, I'll admit I don't pay much attention myself to the receipts when signing.
  4. Don't have to worry about a drink package selling out. Safe bet for dining package would be to call. That way in the event it was sold out they could override it. Can't buy a package if it was already purchased.
  5. On Anthem in 2017 it wasn't an issue getting a roll away bed in the Grand Loft. Space wise, hopefully booked is one of the middle lofts. I personally feel it would be real tight to have a roll away in one of the corner lofts. Comfort wise, I didn't find any issues after a long day of exploring, eating, and drinking. Only issue had to do with sudden movements and the bed deciding to collapse. Pictures
  6. Great meeting you as well. Have to say that was one interesting boarding story. Who would have thought a set of binoculars would have caused so many problems.
  7. Coastal Kitchen at 7, currently chilling in the Suite Lounge.
  8. Playmakers and Johnny Rockets I've done to go without any issues on other ships.
  9. In a nutsell the prepaid or automatic gratuities covers your stateroom attendant. It is your choice if you wish to extend anything beyond that.
  10. On Harmony, seems leaving a certificate in the room is a new normal. Cert happened to be the same reward as what I got on Wonder. Only difference is the offer code having a 4 vs 3 in it and ending with a Q. On another note: Reached 1500+ points in March and still showing as Choice online. In addition, no casino status was printed on SeaPass.
  11. My feeling too. Some reason I want to say when Quantum first started sailing they tried using tablets. However, true to form, Royal IT wasn't the best at implementing tablet based service. Sure things have changed since. Know on CocoCay they have the are using tablets at the bars. Plus on Wonder over at The Mason Jar Bar roaming waiters were using them.
  12. Maybe that is the hold-up. Royal could be looking at a redesign of the band or alternative forms.
  13. Yes, terminal 18 at Port Everglades has a suite entrance for security screening. Just verify your SetSail pass shows "Suite". In addition I believe Suite guests have a check-in line. Don't think entry to the terminal has anything separate for Diamond/Diamond Plus. I think at the check-in decks they did have a separate line.
  14. Quantum class wouldn't have the beer/wine/soda/water perk. Just the already mentioned cocktail hour. The asked about perk is only offered on Oasis class ships.
  15. This has been my experience as well. Had to request a cup at a bar. Think so many were being left unused in staterooms a decision was made to make them upon request.
  16. Same way on Wonder... Lighter blue Royal logo card for "regulars", teal for Sea class, blue for Sky class, purple for Star class, and finally the Pinnacle folks with a gold card.
  17. In my opinion the £46ppp rate is really good. If I'm recalling correctly this already includes the gratuity/service charge and is added to the invoice of the cruise. That rate would be around $60 USD, equivalent of around $51 a day before the gratuity/service charge is added. Never mind, think that might be a discontinued promotion.
  18. Using the machine, just don't put a pod in. Should also have access to a kettle if in a suite. Otherwise you can request a pot of hot water from room service.
  19. Believe guests booked with Air2Sea have an exception.
  20. Refundable OBC, unused OBC would go back to the card on file with the on-board account. Other option could be asking the last night for cash from Guest Services. Also, non-refundable OBC is used before refundable OBC.
  21. Exact quote from the Genie: If you wish to enjoy Hibachi and/or Chef’s Table experiences, my recommendation is to book it through Cruise Planner to secure a place, as we are only able to make your reservations one day prior the sailing, once Cruise Planner is closed. Kindly note the charges will be refunded once onboard.
  22. Whew... was also thinking for a minute that maybe your suite attendant was seeking revenge.
  23. Concierge can make reservations without a package or requiring pre-payment.
  24. Hopefully being stocked up with only decaf pods isn't a supply chain issue.
  25. Only data point I can provide. I had gotten a $100 off certificate from play earlier this year. Asked my TA if it could be applied to a sailing that was being moved due to Royal's cancellation. Was told in order to apply it would have to be treated as a new booking, this would have resulted in loss of a credit that has been applied due to the booking being cancelled once already on Royal's part and loss of the double point promotion. Quote from TA: I spoke with Casino about applying your Casino offer. They are a funny department to deal with and things have changed about how they do things. They said if they apply the Jan Instant Rewards they will have to rebook the booking at prevailing rates. They said this would mean you would lose your $200 onboard credit for the redeployment AND you would lose your double points.
