JLMoran got a reaction from mom2mybugs in labadee is confusing me
I second this. We were on Columbus Cove and it was nice soft powder-like sand. Every review I’ve ever read or watched on YouTube shows that Adrenaline Beach is rocky and wearing water shoes is mandatory if you want to avoid getting your feet cut up.

Day 4 Cozumel :
Regular breakfast in WJ , it was quite empty and off we go to the port. Near our ship we had Celbrety Edge , we were so close we could see what people order for in room breakfast
As we did not any special plans we be just took a taxi to down town and started to walk around drank a margarita and tryed to avoid the over pushy store people (one even called us and ask if " want to see his junk ?" , at least he was pointing his store and not something else.
Soon it was time for lunch. We got some recommendation from this site for few options and we choosen Casa Denise which was very close , it's was quite good and I liked that they did not try fishing for customer.
Post lunch we walked over to Mega supermarket which I was reading about in @Matt posts. It's really a good place to buy some local food, spices and even Alcohol (cheaper than the ship prices for rum and tequila) they accepted dollars with good exchange rate , We bought some hot sauces and candies. It was very easy to catch a taxi going back to the port. It was almost time for all aboard so I went to the balcony to watch the process and some peer runner , well all on board was 5:30 PM , last people boarding was around 6:05.
At the evening we went to WJ for a quick bite before we went to watch the aqua show. As always it was a nice show , the fact the ship moved allot adedd to the difficulty level.

At this point I got lost and actually walked in the direction of the San Cristóbal Fort. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I elected not to go in, but I grabbed the free trolley toward old San Juan.
Using Google Maps, I was able to navigate to the 16th century La Fortaleza (Governors Mansion), spotted Barrachina Restaurant (where the Pina Colada was born), the awesome Paseo de Sombrillas art installation, and Cristo Chapel (home of the Pigeon Park).
I was able to spot Adventure ?
My second-to-last visit prior to returning to the ship was Plaza de Colon with a statue commemorating Christopher Columbus.
A quick visit to Walgreen’s located across from where Adventure was docked completed my visit to San Juan. At this point, my feet were killing me and I was running late for dinner in the MDR.
I will update again tomorrow and finish off Day Four after my tour of St. Kitts.

I then took the steep Triangular Staircase downstairs to the Bateria de Santa Barbara and lower level. A quick stop at the San Juan Cemetary completed my visit to El Morro.

I then headed up the ramp to the upper level with sentry boxes, more amazing views, and the lighthouse which was rebuilt in 1908.

I then spent an hour exploring this impressive 16th century fortress, starting with the Main Plaza complete with chapel, kitchen, gunpowder storage, etc., all complete with scenic views.

I spotted a feral kitty on my walk
and briefly went into the beautiful, historic 400 year old San Juan Cathedral where Ponce de Leon is buried.
Next spotted the Plaza del Quinto Centenario...
..and finally reached El Morro! Happily, there were some families flying kites on the field.

I elected not to book an excursion and to follow a self-guided walking tour I found in my Google search.
I followed the path around the San Juan Bay toward Paseo La Princesa and was impressed with the historic sights and city walls surrounding the area.
En route to El Morro, I passed the Raices fountain and went through the San Juan Gate.

JLMoran got a reaction from The Cruise Junkie in Ship to Replace Anthem in Bayonne - 2020
Unfortunately, that's impossible unless you're OK with only two ports. It's 2 days to get to Florida and 2 days to get back up north; with embarkation day counted as night 1, that leaves you just two port days on a 7-night trip. So if Oasis is coming to NJ she's going to have to do an 8- or 9-night trip south that alternates with a 5- or 6-night trip in the north. I went into this in more detail on the other thread about this topic.
I have no idea how this logically works out, but there is indeed a 7-night Oasis sailing from NJ to Port Canaveral, Perfect Day, and Nassau. And they also have an 8-night that has those ports plus Miami. And for both, they are somehow getting the ship all the way from NJ to Port Canaveral in just one sea day! She's going to be running all six engines and going flat-out to pull that one off!
I've never seen a southbound itinerary from NJ that got to FL using less than 2 sea days before this. Color me flabbergasted!

What better way to spend Tax Day ---- then to go to a place where they can't collect my taxes. ?

Nope, schools in NJ don't close until almost the very end of June, and I recall that the districts in Chicago, Boston, and even where @Lovetocruise2002 teaches in Canada are the same.
Colleges are closed by then, but the public grammar / middle / high schools keep the kids around far longer than any of us parents / teachers really care for.
