  1. It rocks. You definitely need to try it.
  2. Really not a whole lot, they're quite expensive for fast food. Good food though.
  3. We just got a new Sonic here in town, I'm pretty stoked ?
  4. With all the new ships RC is building, it would be nice if they could at least send an older ship to Cali instead of selling it.
  5. So I can open and pour my wine in my stateroom, then carry it to dinner?
  6. We sent our nephews post cards from Canada, took almost a month. Really gotta put 'em through a security check ?
  7. Don't the Oasis class have a "beach" pool that you can walk into with no stairs or ladders?
  8. We shopped with our eyes only before our excursion (Jaguar Bus). Once the excursion was over we went back to the shops and bought what we liked earlier. Not sure what time frame all that happened in. But as everyone has said...you should be fine with afternoon shopping.
  9. Bummer and major bummer ? The lounge sounds super cool.
  10. On Serenade, last October, they had 1 aerial show.
  11. Great questions! I might be able to give an answer for one or two. I've never been on Oasis, but my wife and I wouldn't book a room without being able to see the ocean. However, many people on this site love the boardwalk and central park rooms. What's important to you in a view? For a 6pm leave time I'd say no later than 5:30 to be back onboard, someone else might have a better answer. Get to Port Canaveral as early as you can. Boarding starts around 10:30/11. Sounds like the drink pkg wouldn't be good for you. There are a few articles on this site that might help. $200 would probably be enough, but you can use that $200 for excursions, specialty dining, any purchases onboard. Other cruisers suggest booking shows beforehand. In Falmouth we really enjoyed Dunn's River Falls. Have fun!
  12. If the website Pops posted doesn't help, sometimes this one does https://cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/Liberty-of-the-Seas
  13. Definitely try getting ahold of RC, directly or through your travel agent, asap and let them know about the allergy. Call, email, Twitter, Facebook, whatever it takes. If none of that works before you board then go to the dining room or guest services first thing once on board and talk to them about the allergy, they should be accommodating. Have fun! Let us know how it goes.
  14. This article came to mind https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/12/05/royal-caribbean-receives-perfect-score-workplace-lgbt-equality. Also, on all my cruises I've seen fellow cruisers set up LGBT meet-n-greets in various bars or lounges.
  15. I haven't experienced this, but I've read of discounts on a different/future cruise. Keep us posted as things progress in this situation, I for one am curious to see how RC handles this.
  16. You sure about her being the only one? Are you sure you didn't wear only those for the belly flop contest?...?
  17. Aha, thank you! I was thinking that's where Sabor is on Freedom if I remember correctly.
  18. Apparently you can see sharks. But seriously, we just saw tons of fish, which I loved. It was like being in an exotic aquarium.
  19. Saw Matt's statement of no Sabor on Indy, so I went to check out the deck plans to see what all is onboard. What is The Labyrinth?
  20. My wife gets seasick and did fine in our OVP. She wears the patch, which definitely helps her.
  21. I was wondering the same thing, thank you Barbara for asking, and Matt for answering.
  22. Sounds like a good move. We've stayed away from long tours as well for the same reason. If you go back to St. Maarten maybe the 6hr one will be something to try.
  23. Glad you signed up for the 4 hour tour, gotta watch out for those 3 hour tours...might end up stuck on an island ? And to the delusional "never sailing with Royal again" guy, it's a first world problem. Realize how lucky/blessed you are to be able to afford a cruise at all.
  24. As others have said, Love and Marriage is a must. We've gone to it on all of our 4 cruises, and had a blast each time.
  25. Voyager class might be a good next step from Grandeur.
