  1. Interesting, but, I gonna guess that much like their hotels, I will not be able to afford it!
  2. Probably gonna spend it on blackjack and hookers! ? (OLD Futurama reference!)
  3. Yes, "research". Be sure to very thorough with your "research"! ? Oddly enough, I think I might know who @Ban-One is talking about from my time on Rhapsody in January 2017.
  4. 1. It look as though Navigator has no sailing in January so it looks like the "Amping" will take place then. 2. You can purchase scotch to be delivered through the Royal Gifts website. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/royalgifts/ 3. Sorry, no clue on slides. I do know that Navigator is a GREAT ship, though!
  5. Cafe Latte-tudes on Grandeur does serve Starbucks COFFEE, but, it is not an actual Starbucks STORE, so your Refreshment Package is valid for the Starbucks brand coffee prepared there. As stated on the Cruise Planner site: "*All Beverage Packages exclude any beverages served inside licensed Starbucks® stores." We got Starbucks coffee on Grandeur every morning in January at no additional cost with the Deluxe package.
  6. I'll give Matt's suggestion a 4th recommendation.
  7. YES! You can also use the drink package at Royal's private destinations (Coco Cay, Bahamas & Labadee, Haiti)
  8. Not poor at all! Many here book interior rooms, not because of a lack of funds, but simply because that means more cruises that can be booked! ? We book interior all the time! That way we get a GREAT vacation booked on the cheaper side and then we can put the extra funds toward the other aspects of the cruise that matter more to us. (Excursions, drinks, dining, casino, etc!)
  9. If I were you, I'd give Royal a call and ask about OBC. I booked our next cruise onboard with NextCruise back in January. As part of booking the non-refundable, we received onboard credit. After we got home, I looked closer at our booking and and the OBC applied to our account seemed lower than we were told. On the phone, the CS rep found that our credits weren't applied properly by the onboard booking agent and our OBC was doubled once properly adjusted. It never hurts to ask!
  10. According to this website, your stateroom is a 1F . The layout shown in the pictures for a 1F stateroom has the closet pretty close to the headboard. Hope this helps! https://cruiseline.com/ship/harmony-of-the-seas/cabin/10216 https://cruiseline.com/ship/harmony-of-the-seas/cabins/1F
  11. You don't only have to use it once on board. You can also use it toward booking excursions, drink packages, spa treatments, etc. online in the cruise planner. (You will see your available OBC toward the top right of the page). Your "Cruise Vacation Receipt" that RCCL emailed to you will indicate how much OBC your booking included about halfway down the page.
  12. Has anyone ever done the "Volcanic Mud Experience" is St. Lucia? My wife is interested in this excursion, but, wonders if the "sulfuric mud" as its described will be smelly.
  13. WOW! If I ever see that price, I'm doing a Cancel/Re-Book on the DBP ASAP! That means that the "Standard" price is lower than $50 which is pretty much unheard of, too. I was lucky enough to snag a $42 deal once a couple years ago.
  14. Pool towels are available on all Royal Caribbean ships. You sign them out with your Sea Pass card. FYI: There's a $25 charge for each towel if not returned.
  15. I did this same thing for this same purpose on Rhapsody in January 2017. I think the price (at THAT time on THAT ship) was $10 for the hour. As an unexpected bonus, I had Wi-fi access on my phone for about six hours. Obviously, this is not guaranteed.
  16. Given my wife's desire to visit Italy, I would lean toward the Oasis/Western Mediterranean since makes 3 stops in Italy as well as two other stops. Just my two cents.Enjoy your Greek Isle cruise!
  17. I'm sorry that your experience was sub par, but, I find this all a little bit hard to believe. My wife needs to eat gluten-free and Royal has been EXTREMELY accommodating to her needs; even at the Windjammer. See this post I made about the topic "Gluten Free" last month.
  18. I second what @CGTLH has said. Although I filled out the customer needs form for our last cruise, the supplies needed were not in our room yet. A quick conversation with our stateroom attendant had a gallon of distilled water and an extension cord delivered during our dinner service. Below is a screenshot of the area you need to fill out. FYI: Be prepared to have a LARGE extension cord provided. The cord I was given was a heavy gauge cord at least 50 feet in length! ?
  19. AND you can always cancel it and re-book if the price goes down! Right, @Matt ?!?!? I've taken advantage of this for drinks & excursions.
  20. I believe the next scheduled cruise for Grandeur was already a NE/Canada itinerary. The Ship Mate app shows it alternating between Bermuda/Bahamas & NE/Canada sailings. To me the real unfortunate part is what was a 9-night sailing is now only a 5-night sailing with one stop. I guess my Grandeur 9-night becoming a 7-night back in January (rudder issue) isn't so bad!
  21. Hi, @Gochie , I suggest filing out the Customer Special Needs form online. Check in the area about bringing medical equipment on board(or possibly the "other" section) and RCCL will provide you with the extension cord your need. Don't bring your own or you could end up with it being confiscated as an "not allowed" item. (or possibly the "other" section) https://secure.royalcaribbean.com/allaboutcruising/guestSpecialNeeds.do (I fill out this form to get distilled water and an extension cord for my CPAP)
  22. That makes sense. I was wondering if they would just be delivered to your stateroom on Day One like excursion tickets.
  23. Sailed on GoTS this past January, NFL games were broadcast on the big screen by the pool, in the casino, and in the Schooner Bar. Our interior stateroom temp (Deck 4, Forward) was quite comfortable for both of us. Which is amazing since I am usually too warm & my wife is nearly always cold!
