  1. That good for CVS customers. Too bad I'm a Rite Aid guy! LOL
  2. Rather lucky you were driving to the port and she remembered soon enough! Those of us that need to fly would be screwed! This is why I have a checklist on my phone's notepad for EVERYTHING we need to bring. (And I do mean EVERYTHING) CVS not honoring their original commitment is disgraceful. I actually wish we had an acceptable electronic copy (QR code, photo, pdf doc, etc.) instead of having these easily lost or destroyed pieces of paper we're not supposed to laminate in the name of boosters. I bought us a couple passport/vax card holders just to have something that makes it easy to travel with and keep it in good condition.
  3. Cafe Latte-tudes is what it is on smaller ships. @Mick gracey Are you asking specifically about sailings that depart from England? Here in the U.S., tea time is not really a thing.
  4. Birth certificates will be fine, but you really should have been considering this sooner. (OFFICIAL Birth Certificates as stated in the link @smokeybandit provided) Given the long lead times required to get passports right now, you would be lucky to get them in time with only two months until your cruise. Even with expedited service, it can take up to 10 weeks to process your passport request. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/processing-times.html If you do feel like leaving the ship in Mexico, it is not necessary to carry passports or birth certificates to get off the ship. The only time you will need to provide any passports or birth certificates is while checking in on Day 1 and to U.S. Customs at the end of your cruise.
  5. For this kind of money and commitment to RC, you'd think they could offer the shore excursions everyone.
  6. Me: Looks at checking account balance. Looks at available PTO. Looks at annual income. Looks at mortgage statement. Looks at other financial commitments. Looks at other life commitments. NOPE.
  7. News of a world cruise would be disappointing. A world cruise sounds amazing, but, it's just so unaffordable/undoable/inaccessible to the vast majority of their customer base.
  8. I call these "zombie threads". They're dormant for a year (or more) and then someone brings it back from the dead. Another post today brought back a zombie thread from DECEMBER 2017!!!
  9. Don't put much stock into titles. My first job out of college with zero job experience in the field had "Senior" in the title.
  10. Has anyone toggled from one cruise to another on the app with spotty/slow network connection? The developers put some fun messages that scroll through while the connection tries to make the switch. The last one even acknowledges how long it is taking before it starts the messages over. (Found this out in my dead zone office building when wi-fi was disconnected)
  11. This is good to know. I was starting to wonder if this was no longer going to be an option for our January sailing due to availability and expiration AFTER the extended expiration date.
  12. That should be fine. I think many (if not most) just have a location where the shots were given. Mine says "Rite Aid #01729".
  13. Has anyone aver had THIS happen before? I opened the app a few minutes ago and "Check-in opens December 17" was displayed. The app soon was displaying the Royal Caribbean spinning "updating" icon and the check-in date changed to December 15. I quickly hit the screen shot function to share the result since I had never seen this happen.
  14. I'm a bit surprised to see people with Feb/March/April itineraries have received updates that their Grand Cayman stop has been changed. Our January 29th sailing on Odyssey still lists Grand Cayman as our port of call for January 31st and excursions are available for purchase in our cruise planner.
  15. @GKMCruising Great pictures, thanks for sharing. We are taking much a very similar cruise next August. (Much of the same ports) May I ask how the weather was? We will definitely need to know what types of clothing to pack!
  16. @CrimsonCruiser There's no way I would do this to our cabin door. It takes away too much of the time that's needed to find and try all the bars!
  17. Well, two weeks ago, my January 29 sailing on Odyssey had the check in date pushed out from October 31st to December 15th. (Before this announcement) (I did not get the email about final payment, probably since this booking was already paid in full by a re-price many months ago.) After the announcement, the check-in date was pushed out three more days to December 18th. NOW, (Monday 10/4) it's December 15th again! So, ............ yes .......... and no?
  18. August 22, 2022 - Quantum of The Seas 7-Night Alaskan Glacier!
  19. I'm getting this one in under the wire! Just booked a 7-Night Alaskan Glacier cruise on Quantum for 2022! This is the first times we've ever had multiple cruises booked! I blame all of you for being such bad influences!
  20. You've got a definite advantage being so close to the Galveston port. It would be so much easier for us to take advantage of this Double C&A offer if we were within a reasonable driving distance of a port. (Baltimore is closest and it's 9-10 hours away!)
  21. Kinda. We've had our eye on a couple different sailings for next fall and still haven't decided. Maybe we'll just do some coin flipping and book by midnight! (I wish we had booked that 7N Mediterranean on Allure a few weeks ago before it was replaced with Wonder. We could have gotten switched to the new ship at a lower price!)
  22. I came to this post to see if there were any "they make you walk the plank" replies.
  23. I've seen this happen a few times. Somehow the website seems to combine your browsing history (or maybe a mock booking?) with one of the lowest priced cruises available (most likely a 2-3 night Bahamas) so I'm gonna guess you had been browsing that cruise recently. I'm not sure if it's browser specific or just another issue with the RC website in general. The RC website has a LONG and storied history of not being great.
  24. Dang. Was looking forward to seeing your smiling (albeit masked) face on the January 29th sailing. Hopefully, some other time.
