Some people like RC Excursions, some not. I'm on the second group, after several trips reserving exclusively RC shorex I got tired of the excessive time wasting. First they group all the excursions (generally on the Main theater), then you have to wait a looooong time to be called to get off the ship, then another loooong wait for all the participants to arrive the boat/bus/transport for the excursion, most of the times shorex are large groups so one or two guest surely will arrive late. And lastly the price, usually they're much more expensive than any tour you could book by yourself. I say go for It and DIY. I think it's worth it. I'll do it this summer, all excursions booked with third parties.

Has anyone experienced check-in in Civitavecchia? I am a little confused because I have the Key and also in a JS that is supposed to have priority boarding but my check in time is 12:00. So what time would it be possible to arrive?

I've just won a bid for a JS on Odyssey sailing on June 19th for $400 total. We had a Balcony OV. I bid on every category available but after a week all of them changed to expired except for the JS bid. A week later I got the email confirmation.

I've just received this email for June 19th Sailing of Odyssey. The only change I could see was: Pre-Cruise All vaccinated guests will be required to present a negative test result for a COVID-19 test taken no more than 2 days before our sailing. All guests considered unvaccinated will be required to present a negative test result for a COVID-19 test taken no more than 1 day before our sailing. So if you are considered fully vaccinated you can take your test 2 days before the sailing now.
