Ah, bummer. We loved CK on our Odyssey Cruise (Junior Suite) and they let us make as many reservations as we wanted for dinner - granted, the ship was fairly low capacity at the time, too. Really loved the CK crew on that ship (not that we have much CK experience to compare to!)
We'll make CK our first stop on Allure in October and just see what they say.
Does anyone have any info on the availability for JS guests on Odyssey recently? Can you make all your reservations on the first day or do you have to make them day bay day?

If you are in a suite or even a junior suite go directly to Coastal Kitchen and book your dinners for the week. We were in. Jr. On odyssey and ate thee every night because we booked as soon as we boarded.
If you are on a JS on Odyssey you have to make your reservations for CK every day or you can do all of them in the first day?

I've just received this email for June 19th Sailing of Odyssey.
The only change I could see was:
Pre-Cruise
All vaccinated guests will be required to present a negative test result for a COVID-19 test taken no more than 2 days before our sailing. All guests considered unvaccinated will be required to present a negative test result for a COVID-19 test taken no more than 1 day before our sailing. So if you are considered fully vaccinated you can take your test 2 days before the sailing now.

When you make your bid it clearly states that the pictures are only informative and not representative of what you might get. Also states that once you win your bid it's non refundable.
What category you had, on what ship, and what category you won?

Right. I understand that. But what I am saying is that approaching Alaska, you enter into a strait. This means there will be land masses on the left and right. This also means you will see water on the left and right.
In that part of the cruise yes, you're right.

Not entirely sure what this means. If I am not mistaken, Alaskan cruise ships travel the inside passage towards Juneau and further north. This means that either port or starboard sides have land AND sea views. Also, the captains of these ships usually turn the ship at least 180 degrees so that both sides can see most of the scenery. Am I wrong?
If the cruise is a north or southbound trip it might have a land or a sea view side, but if it is a roundtrip from Vancouver or Seattle it doesn't matter at all, because you'll have one view on one way and the other on the way back.

I hate to say, but once Covid has hit the majority of staff onboard the staff will all be working and the ship will be back to normal. Unfortunately there’s no way to predict how fast Covid is running through the staff, nor when it started. Assuming it’s the latest variant hitting staff I imagine ships will be better staffed within a month or so.
I wonder how long they need to stay in quarantine after they test positive. This is not true as one person can get Covid many times, some even only 19 days apart.

No one should have to publicly state their reasons for not drinking alcohol to avoid that kind of comments.

RC ramping up capacity beyond staffing is unacceptable. We’ve got four sailings booked and if our Ovation sailing is similar to our Navigator trip, we might have to cancel until the product matches the price.
This!
I think we all understand the troubles of staffing right now, but RC should match their ships capacity with their staffing.
Increasing capacity in this circumstances it's totally unacceptable.

Other times you just get an error and can't finish the purchase, you have to clean the cart and add the items again.

The only one that I think has Hairspray, Symphony Of The Seas

Reps make it up as they go along! Did you cancel prior to changing your sailing? Seems to be a key to getting timely refunds.
Yes. I've just received an email from another rep saying that they haven't refunded that purchase because it was never paid. My CC, bank and myself begs to differ.
This is just nuts!

I changed my sailing so I had to cancel all my cruise planner purchases.
A couple of weeks passed but not all my refunds were issued so I had to call to see what happened
The rep told me that I had to send an email with a format requesting the refund and want 60 business days!!! That's just crazy. Be careful you receive all your refunds or they will just keep your money until you ask for it, and then you'll have to wait A LOT to get your money back.

Hello there! Me and my family are embarking on the Greek isle cruise this Saturday. We just arrived today to Rome and been looking for a place to get our covid test done tomorrow (since it strictly needs to be done 24 hours before embarking) but we haven’t had any luck. Is anyone else in the same jam? Does anybody know where can you get one done in Italy?
thank you!
I understand that most Rome pharmacies will do a rapid Antigen Test, please let us Know how you solve this!

Just a note with the Johnny Rocket's shakes. That's only if you order dinner there and pay for the meal (like $10 or so). Then the milkshakes are free.
I've read on other threads that this depends on the ship. Some ships allow you to get a Milkshake without paying for a meal.

I want to read the post and understand, but it’s a giant wall of text.
Paragraphs would help.
I tried but couldn't finish.
To the OP, did you pre-paid your gratuities? What you're seeing on your final bill may be the gratuities.
As for the missing port, as I understand they refunded your shore excursions and your port taxes.
But I'm just guessing as I couldn't read the whole thing. I suggest a shorter an concise post.

I'm not sure the 50 OBC will cover the price difference... but what do I know.

Someone purchases The Key on a Cruise Planner Sale.
Then, two weeks before your cruise RC cancel it, so now you're stuck with paying almost the same as the Key for only having the internet package because all the prices have gone up.
Nice done!

Is there a limit on how many times can you go to Playmakers in one day? It's 25 credit p/p per day?

Just making reservations for our whole party. I guess ordering a bunch of food, is not necessarily giving them access to the perk.
I'm so sorry if my question felt aggressive or in another tone, it was never my intention, it was a genuine question, specially regarding check in, dinner reservations, shows, etc...
Have a great trip!

I've just won a bid for a JS on Odyssey sailing on June 19th for $400 total.
We had a Balcony OV. I bid on every category available but after a week all of them changed to expired except for the JS bid.
A week later I got the email confirmation.
