  1. I hope this means that RCG will be sailing in Europe in May.
  2. THIS is wrong. NCL shares are up today since mid-morning. How it will end the day is a different story.
  3. Thank you !!! Such "misinformation" from third-party tends to be unreliable, but now we have a good soure.
  4. IF anyone thinks they will see a sale or bargain after what RCG is going through financially, you better wake up and smell the coffee, which you are not getting for free. They lost so much business and are trying to play catch up. Cut them some slack.
  5. Has nothing to do with RCG as RCG was a stakeholder only. Spain-based investment firm, Springwater Capital, owns the controlling 51% stake in Pullmantur Cruises which was headquartered in Madrid, Spain. On 22 June 2020, due to the economic impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Pullmantur's owners announced they had filed for reorganization, a form of bankruptcy proceedings in Spain, of the now defunked Pullmantur under Spanish insolvency laws. The controlling laws here are in Spain, whether you get your refund or not. RCG has no deciding factor on the matter.
  6. Nope. RCG just is cancelling cruises longer than 7 days per CDC order.
  7. I'm speaking about "out of or porting in US through October 2021"...didn't see this.
  8. Your analogy is moot as I was only giving the percentage of the total infections onboard. Not prior thereto, nor after disembarkation.
  9. Lets keep in mind that the Healthy Sail Panel protocols are moot in Barbados as is the CDC's tyranny.
  10. Seven passengers tested positive and as of this morning, crew members was added to the people infected numbers, but Sea Dream won't state how many crew members were infected. There were 53 passengers and 66 crew onboard. In essence, that's a total of approximately 6% infected onboard. Based on passengers only, is approximately 13.5%. These numbers are too high. Infact, ANY infection numbers are unacceptable.
  11. I signed up to volunteer so that others will have a chance to experience what the meaning of cruising truly is in a safe manner and what it means to someone who has cruised for over 40 years. My love of cruising started when I was 14 years old and as a teenager the great memories with family and friends that I have met, which I still keep in contact with, is absolutely priceless. I have carried these specials moments close to my heart and I hope by sharing them with others it will open their curiosity to a whole new experience that they will treasure for years to come as much as I have.
  12. Too Little, Too Late!! @Mattprovided the info 20,000+ sign ups and two (2) days ago!
  13. It seems that we have all forgotten the continued success in cruising in Singapore and in Europe? Not every sailing will be perfect, flawless or without error. You also cannot compare Royal Caribbean to a yacht. There are a lot of technical intricacies that involve in proofing either one of these companies and thier ships. Let's also keep in mind that this yacht left from Barbados. Not the United States which if they were, they would be bound by U.S. CDC recommendations. THIS is the positive side of the story.
  14. There it is!! The American with the antibodies was most likely the spreader since he/she was exposed and has antibodies. Most likely was still asymptomatic, COVID results were false or didn't test at all prior to boarding ship.
  15. The question that Still Remains is how did the passenger catch it?
  16. THE 8 nite cruise is way out. THE cruise shouldn't be impacted. THE cruise scheduled for Oct 30th should be fine.
