For those that think they're getting 125% OBC --- it is NOT --- it is a 125% Future Cruise Credit .... Big Difference in what you can use the money for.

Nice .... was able to take advantage of this -- a combo DBP & Voom (2 Device) for our September Oasis cruise --- Thank You... If I had to make a guess, doing this gave RC a much needed infusion of cash during these trying times. Makes sense to me. Everybody wins, us with a good deal, RC with an infusion of cash, and perhaps, those waiting on refunds (who knows on that last one).

I'm slightly amused at how a lot of us that have cruises canceled due to "the Rona" are keeping them in our signatures, just making the "Rona" notation.

I had no idea there were 10 of you ..... WOW!!! Well, all I can say is, you all are "rock stars" in my book. Personally, I can really only speak in regards to Michelle, she is incredibly calm and patient during all this, which is amazing...... Truly a gift to those that she works with. Mark

I'm noticing a common theme here ....... MEI Travel... Whether it's John, @AnnetteJackson, or @michelle - the common element is how awesome they are. I know, with Michelle's sense of humor, she has really helped to keep my stress through all this crap at a reasonable level. It's very comforting knowing that there is someone out there that I can trust to have my best interest at heart .... I'll just tend to follow her lead. They all must be members of MENSA, because they are brilliant at how they're navigating these shark infested waters

Yep, and as much as I love cruising .... I don't love it enough to risk losing sleep over it .... I'd just as soon spend a week at Ocean City, MD

Sure .... then a person shows up at the port that is tested asymptamatic positive (and even more importantly, a false positive) --- then your vacation stops at that point ..... Big time bummer.... not worth the stress, the potential loss of of $$$ from non-refundable flights, hotels, etc..... Testing at the port will backfire on the business, people will choose to spend their vacation dollars elsewhere just to avoid the stress. Now, where this could go is having a doctors note saying you're negative.... but the real question is, the 2-week issue.... how would that be dealt with? You get tested more than 2 weeks out, you don't know what the situation is the final two weeks leading up to the cruise, or, you get tested within two weeks and you come out asymptamatic positive, again, no vacation.... game over. I guarantee, people will just spend their money elsewhere, not worth the stress And, what I didn't bring up is this --- a person shows up, tests positive (showing no symptoms) --- what does that do to the status of all the other passengers that may have been around that person? Again, it's human nature to take the path of least resistance, and that includes the path that's the least stressful --- Cruising as a vacation option will be off the table for many. You can't have rapid testing at the port without a rapid cure......

My Freedom Cruise that was supposed to be March 29th - April 5th stayed in the Cruise Planner until the cruise ended.... it's as though nothing had changed.... I was sort of watching to see if there'd be a glitch and I'd still get the points .... I'm sorry to report, no glitch.

We were supposed to be on Freedom March 29th .... also part of the first round of cancellations..... No sign of my FCC yet, but will keep watching.

It's more than likely that particular itinerary hasn't been released yet being 2 years out.
