Day 2 is a sea day.  The view of the ship from NorthStar is incredible.  Add the surrounding ocean, and the view should leave you speechless.  If you want or need more, then add a spin on the NorthStar while it's tied up in port.  

Since I had to work OT for work and just got home it officially puts us in the single digits till sail away!!!!  9 more days to go

Sandy was not the female lead in the original musical.  Rizzo was.  But Stockard Channing (who could act circles around ONJ) was not enough of a box office draw so they rewrote the show to give ONJ the bigger part and more songs.  But my issue with the show is not its performance.  It’s the horrible message it sends.  Being pretty and smart and funny is not enough girls, gotta tart yourself up to get your man!  You gotta “cream for greased lightening” and justify your promiscuity because “there are worse things I could do”.  But it’s all good in the end cuz I gotta stop at the drug store.  I got my period!!  ALL of this is in the musical.  How does it become a staple of community theater & high school music departments?!!!

Well, it appears that it's just short of 15 days and 20 hours from sail time when they assign the cabin...we got ours and while we would have selected deck 11 or 12 and closer to midship we did get deck 11 but more aft than usual. Not a big deal and it was a savings of $700 plus over an assigned cabin when we booked.

Good info on here about when to expect the room assignment. We got one on Utopia later this year, so I’m interested in this thread. 

Ours came in the evening as well, between 7:30-8pm EST.
