Planning on going to 150 Cental Park on Harmony on upcoming cruise - can anyone advise if you can have 2 entrées? - looking at roasted tenderloin beef for 2 as been recommended - but also tempted with Lobster Thermidor - any advice would be great - or if not what entrées would you recommend

    many thanks

you can order multiple entrees in all specialty restaurants, except for Chops, where they'll charge you extra

So what happens if you placed bids on a credit card and the credit card is declined for some reason or another?  Do they give you a chance to submit alternative form of payment or just simply cancel the bid?

In these last two weeks, my family had a run of bad luck and spent over $4k on emergency things.  I will pay off the charges at the end of the month, but if Royal Up accepts our bids before then, I may be screwed.

yes, they'll email you & give you a chance to edit payment. make sure to be on top of your emails.

My kids are obsessed with Sorrento's pizza that was on the other ships and that it was open until 3:00 am. When we booked this cruise, I was told there is pizza on Mariner, but I don't see it listed in dining. Has anyone been on Mariner of the Seas and do they have pizza?

they offer pizza at cafe promenade but they don't have a sorrento's

Not sure if the right place for this question but I don't want to start another thread if I don't need to. I'm going solo on a 3 day cruise @ the end of May. Part of the reason for doing it is to get the extra 3 C&A points. I'm just in an inside cabin. If I royal up to one of the Oceanview cabins will I still get the extra 3 points? I would assume so but ya know what assuming gets ya. 🙂

if you royal up, no matter the category, you only receive the points that you'd receive from the original reservation.

yes you'd get the same 3 points.if you were to go up to suite, you'd still only get 3 points

Can you only reserve it once you get on board?

Every time I try to add it under the cruise planner, it tells me something went wrong and to try again. The two people in my party do have MTD. I made sure of that

No, you can reserve my time dining through the cruise planner. one of 2 things might be happening. it's too far out and it doesnt show yet, or times have filled up & now you'll just have to show up when you wish to dine & wait for tables to open up. i'd call Royal or your agent just to get some clarification on what your specific situation might be.

Can you adjust specific people individually without impacting others in the party?

I'm sure making changes like that isn't an issue once you're on the ship but i'm not sure how that will go about on the cruise planner beforehand. I've had situations that we've been onboard & decided to treat the in laws to a nice dinner but had the kids keep their already scheduled MDR seating. ive never tried to split reservations up on the cruise planner though.  1 of the benefits of working with a good Travel Agent is that they can take care of these kinds of scenarios for you. I myself & the planner in the family so I like to over-plan myself in advance so that I dont have a single worry once I'm onboard.

I made MTD for everyone for every night.  Then adjusted on board as necessary.

this is the way to go IMO. time slots fill up for MTD. & if you dont make that reservation in advance, you might get stuck having to wait to be seated & the bigger the party, the longer the wait. It's better to have a specific time locked up & once on board you can adjust as necessary.

  8. ive called royal 7 times, &  though some said it's okay & some said it's not okay unless it's Abbott, you can tell they just arent sure on policy.
I finally got through to someone who sounded competent in their answer. unfortunately, there isnt enough information at the moment company-wide on i-health, so it's dependent on the attendant at the terminal. She sounded like everyone at RCL knows about Abbott tests, but anything else, even if it checks all the boxes, you might run into an issue. Hopefully Royal does a better job of communicating updates on testing options to their employees because i do fear it is going to get harder to get tests as (non tourism) demand disappears.

  9. “There is strong demand. And obviously, with the environment being what it is, there's been an opportunity to raise price, and we've been capturing that opportunity.”

if they're being that brazen in their increase & there's no pushback from consumers, it's probably a matter of when, not if RCCL & other cruise lines follow suit, unfortunately.
i think it's already started, somewhat with the lack of true promotions on the cruise planner
