I don’t really know if the alternating configuration is the same on Q class ships as it is for the other classes, but if it is, the cabin on the “right” side of the double arrow (if you are standing in the hallway, looking at the cabin doors) has the bed by the balcony.  Then they alternate down the line.  Be sure you are placing yourself in the hallway otherwise, you will have it exactly backwards.

My mind still thinks I’m 20, so when I’m eating lunch in the windjammer, I make chili dogs with the yellow liquid cheese they have right next to the hot dogs.   If that’s the cheese you’re referencing, I don’t think it’s supposed to be nacho flavored.   I always expected a bland velveeta type cheese and have never been disappointed. 
 
I like the Windjammer because I can let my creative side come out and put together a plate of different foods that makes total sense to me.  My wife just thinks I’m weird.  I have to watch out or she’ll take pictures, post on social media, and title it “Look what Ted’s eating today”. 🤷‍♂️

The older I get, the less it bothers me to scooch by with a polite "Excuse me" as I move past. 🙂

We cruised on odyssey last year and liked it but it was a very different experience than the oasis class. It was more closed in and we really missed the boardwalk with the aqua show! I honestly don’t think we’d go on the quantum class again. Good luck with your decision but I don’t think I would spend the extra money if I were you. I hope this helps!

We got the vax, just the one and done, and as I recall that means we no longer need the test.
Went to the doctor's office for cruise #4 and the receptionist said....again? I want your life. LOL I didn't mention that when I was her age I didn't cruise, I was spending my money living and raising three kids. Oh, btw, our last cruise started one day before the change so we had to get another test, I told the same woman...last one...but didn't explain why. 😉

My husband and I will be doing a back to back continuing on the March 4-9 sailing to celebrate our 40th anniversary! This will be our first time on the symphony. We've sailed on oasis, harmony and allure in this class and loved all of them. We really enjoy watching the cover bands on each cruise and hoping we can find out who will be performing on these dates.
