I’ve been a bit of a bad boy.
I emailed Michael Bayley begging for Radiance to come to Sydney for a few months early 2022.
I think what really hit a nerve was when I said you don’t want your crown & anchor members to go on a carnival Australia cruise do you.
Gavin Smith of RC Asia pacific replied.
He seemed a little annoyed but said he is in final discussion with Australian government and the will be bringing a ship Early-mid 2022.
And noted he isn’t sure but there’s possibly a couple of ships .

Before COVID started the Sydney cruise ship schedule used to show an 'unnamed' Royal Caribbean ship in May/Jun of 2022, well past April when they usually leave. 
I believe their plan back then was to leave Quantum of the Seas here full time, as Carnival was also doing with Splendor. Given we would be going into winter a Quantum class would make sense.

Really, you can't go wrong with any view. 270° put the cruisers view closer to the water; neither less, can't go wrong with either one.

270 is my happy place on Quantum class.   Sitting right at the windows watching all that horse power.There’s food and drink close by to sustain life.
But I like the forward view of the Viking crown lounge coming and leaving port.
‘I suppose the suite lounge on oasis is good, if you are in a suite.

Ovation is on the move heading south at 17knots .
A bit strange for a ship in a deep sleep.
 
 Spectrum has another week before the latest quarantine runs out.
I think if there’s another it or quantum will head to Oz

As long as they bring back the Viking Crown lounge or a lounge with a big ocean view.

I believe the major cruise lines meet with greg hunt tomorrow.

Wonder is moving from the ship yard on Friday to Marseille where it will dock.
There was a report in a Marseille news paper that it will have the Chinese signage removed.
Also Hong Kong is supposed to be tightening it’s boarders to the outside world and relaxing it’s boarder to China. Anyone entering from the outside has to quarantine for upto 21 days and exit visas will be difficult to obtain.
That will be inline with China.
