It would be 7 nights. Otherwise they would not even be listed to make a reservation.

Just announced RCL is selling the Azamara brand!

I agree. Was expecting this -
my understanding is that any flight into US from any other country would require a negative test. So Europe included. But not sure about PR. I assume PR would also be included. My question is........If you have had the vaccine (that I have already rec'd) matter? Mainly to be excluded from getting a negative Covid test? Any thoughts?

Coastal Kitchen or Solarium

It will also vary as to the port/ports they are getting supplies from. And what country on international cruises.

Why can't they just do test cruises?

Beautiful pictures -
Mine come to me and my TA via email. And are taking a about 4-6 weeks to issue. I rebooked a cruise but just paid another deposit as this FCC would not arrive in time, nor automatically be transferred to new cruise right away. I get 125% credit so can make an additional amount of money using FCC's that are very worthwhile.

I have a Jr Suite Aft cabin booked in Med next year. Never had an aft before and looking forward to it. The back of ship gets less motion. But not sure about engine noise? Am on Deck 10 of Brilliance, I love looking out at the wake.......

Look fabulous! Although I do have a 14 day cruise in Dec. 2021, and also in February 2022. So January date may be out for me. -
Plus this particular cruise is in 2022, and by then maybe Venice will allow some ships to dock there. You never know?
-
Possibly. But you sure have limited time to see Venice, if you have to include about 6 hours just for transport. I am doing a back-to-back out of Ravenna. So really on the cruise itself you do not go to actual Venice. I will just plan more time, and stay in Venice before or after cruise for 3 nights. I really love Venice.

Good Question. I have a trip next year out of Venice. I won't be happy if they dock in Ravenna, but my documents do say that. Bummer

Why can't they just do test cruises?
Linda R replied to Davife's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
I think I had previously read that. My understanding is that is very vague. And details were to follow. Like who will be on overseeing this, which I understand will be a 3rd party. That is who would oversee the events on mock cruise sailings, embarkation process, etc. They need to do Covid testing at embarkation. Also wasn't established age group of mock cruisers. I originally read it could not be a person over 65. The cruise lines were also trying to figure out if they could sell anything on mock cruises to passengers or if it all would be complimentary. Like drinks, specialty restaurants, etc. I do not think any of that has been established. I also think all of the reguirements are changing all the time. But I have no official information on the details. My information comes from people in the business and I read too much on internet! I really wish the mock cruises would get started, and then they can apply for the conditional sailing permit (which I understand that once applied for it takes 60 days to get it approved and ready to sail). Such a big mess. I just had 2 more cruises cancelled today. More FCC and more Lift and Shift. 2021 is turning out as bad as 2020 for cruising at this point. Thanks for sending that article. Have a good evening -

Also, I do not believe the CDC has even sent them the information on what requirements are needed to do the mock cruise. Or not all the requirements. They are kind of stuck in limbo. -
Thanks. I will see about cancelling May and L & S to next year. I realize I will lose my casino comps. Which I have before. 3 cruises down this year so far. Next one is now September (if I L & S May cruise). Have a good evening
-
So, you can do L & S on any cruise? I thought it was just cancelled cruises. I would like to L & S my May cruise , but it isn't cancelled yet.

A little good news at least...

Yeah -
I totally expected RC to follow with the other cruise lines and cancel more cruises soon. I have paid in full my April cruise but expected it to be cancelled. Not sure about May cruise yet? Thanks for information
-
This is a great idea! I think we will do that next cruise
-
I wish they would just cancel March!
Linda R replied to Annie kaley's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Yes, am hoping it is extended. May would probably be cancelled by April anyway. Otherwise, will go to plan B I already expect the April to be cancelled. This is all such a mess.
