When you say "Washy Washy" in your head every time you get a pump of hand sanitizer or wash your hands. Sometimes even throw in a "Washy Washy, Happy Happy" for a little extra razzle dazzle.

Im going with the DBP and all adults in a cabin having to purchase. My wife simply cannot drink enough beverages in a day to make it worth it. If I want it, there is the option for her to get the lower package, but she doesnt drink soda....drinks one coffee per day.....and that package isnt worth it either.

Line cutters...in the WJ, at a bar, waiting for doors to open at a show, at the ice cream machine, getting on /off the elevators. I know it's not RC specific, but it seems quite a few people lose their manners on vacation.

-Automatic pre-paid gratuity on drink package purchases
-Cruise Planner. Trying to keep track of pricing and sales to feel like you arent overpaying and differences in Ships on prices on Cruise Planner items
-Just general consistent enforcing of any rules onboard
-Dynamic pricing on cruises and trying to keep track once cruise is booked prior to final payment
-Out of pocket expenses on the ship where you feel like you constantly are being asked to spend more and more aboard ship. I understand from a business perspective why its done but still frustration. Would rather see some tiered pricing with amenities included when booking a cruise rather than onboard constantly being hit up especially with small children and the arcades, ice cream and sweet shops

I’ve been on a Norwegian fjords cruise, the views were amazing, highly recommended! Try and book a balcony cabin.

    That's great!
If you are into this sort of thing create a log of all your cruises with dates and places visited.  By the time you reach my age some of those details start to become a little foggy.   Ask your parents if they have any pictures from those cruises.  If so,  scan and save them, even if that is just taking a picture of them with a smartphone.  Years from now as cruising evolves it will be amazing to go back and look at your cruise history from those early days.

There is a trick to planning all dining including My Time for the duration of the cruise.
Click on the Dining button, choose All Dining

Next click Plan All Cruise Dining at the bottom

This will open a screen where you can plan every night and checkout only once.

With the new My Royal Cruise planner coming this will likely change but I suspect there will be something similar.

£1555 tax free a month for a 9 month contract is more than most working class brits get for working 12 months  :(

I agree with what twangster is questioning. RCI sells the cabin including a genie service. To me it feels counter-intuitive to then pay extra to the person providing that included service. Living somewhere without tipping/gratuities I really struggle with this.

As you are sailing on Ovation while it is Australia, that is an interesting question. As it is not normal to tip here, I suspect unless the guests are American or Canadian a lot of guests wouldn’t tip at all or tip a lot. For example they provide a lot a services that a conceirge would provide and I have never tipped a conceirge and nor do many people in this market.
i know the people that we sailed with on Ovation who had a genie did not tip him. Anita and I If we had a genie on a 14 day cruise down here we would probably tip around $100. If we were in the US we would tip more as that would be the expectation.
if you comfortable tipping maybe you could calculate 1-2% of the cabin price and tip them that. We had a not at a Suite with a genie and that was around $20,000 NZD so that would equate to $200-$400 NZD

We would most likely never be able to do these classes of rooms unless we were upgraded. As mentioned before, if we had some type of free or really cheap upgrade fee, it would be really hard to tip big. I do believe in tipping but there must be a point. Tipping the same amount as my tickets sounds insane to me but again this class wouldn't be a norm for me anyway. I rather spend less and do more trips. They must be understanding when some people tip more then others, I am sure they can tell when someone gives them what they can even if they feel like they deserved more. I would say tip what you feel you can afford but yet shows you are really thankful for their help. I am sure they are used to different situations and will appreciate whatever they get. I mean they must be happy with what they make if they continue to renew their contracts.

There's nothing like waking to a beautiful brand new day.   When that occurs in the Alaskan Inside Passage it's so much better.

ProTip - Don't sleep in while in Alaska even if you are not a morning person.  It can be pretty spectacular.

How about a quick time lapse?
