  1. I think it also said 15 per ship - which makes no sense at all. Even 15/line seems extreme (and pretty expensive).
  2. Just saw a TV commercial for everyone who's missing the on-board art auctions. Grab your champagne glass and log into https://www.parkwestgallery.com/browse-artwork/. Park West has brought the auctions to the internet. ?
  3. Read one of the on-line news banners that stated cruise lines had to run 15 test cruises - has anyone else seen the "15"? Think it was a yahoo story.
  4. Think there's a bar and distillery now. Would just hang out at one and talk to locals. Usually some good stories to bring back.
  5. Did you hear about the pirate who became a great chef? He mastered the seven sea-sonings
  6. An effective and widely accepted vaccine is creates the "event" to enable restart. This month-to-month slippage is to mitigate severe equity drops and maintain deposits to continue some level of cash flow. But think you're right on point.
  7. If I didn't, how would I ever know that I would not get selected.
  8. Why did the zombie eat the pirate? He wanted a career change, and heard that you ARR what you eat
  9. Right on - restart has nothing to do with an arbitrary date. Vaccine deployment is probably the most likely event to get things moving and alter trends.
  10. As time continues to pass, and we're all anticipating the future (when ever decides to start, let us look back on those fond memories.... For example, "Do you remember when, you could just show up at the terminal with your passport and credit card and get on a ship with an open cabin?"
  11. They want to control stock price decline prior to more issuance(sssss)
  12. As that's >7 days, its now highly unlikely. SO hope the B2Bs from Venice go, but thinking that's out the window too.
  13. Have 5 booked within '21-'22 - but have no idea when I will cruise again.
  14. Transcript of a radio conversation between a US naval ship and Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland Canadians: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision. Over. Americans: Recommend you divert YOUR course 15 degrees to the North to avoid a collision. Over. Canadians: Negative. You will have to divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision. Over. Americans: This is the Captain of a US Navy ship. I say again, divert YOUR course. Over. Canadians: No, I say again, you divert YOUR course. Over. Americans: THIS IS THE AIRCRAFT CARRIER USS LINCOLN, THE SECOND LARGEST SHIP IN THE UNITED STATES' ATLANTIC FLEET. WE ARE ACCOMPANIED BY THREE DESTROYERS, THREE CRUISERS AND NUMEROUS SUPPORT VESSELS. I DEMAND THAT YOU CHANGE YOUR COURSE 15 DEGREES NORTH, I SAY AGAIN, THAT'S ONE FIVE DEGREES NORTH, OR COUNTERMEASURES WILL BE UNDERTAKEN TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THIS SHIP. OVER. Canadians: This is a lighthouse. Your call. Over.
  15. Cruise radio news reported the recommended protocols were not being applied on that line/ship, but will create a negative impact to the industry.
  16. I think we can expect to see the rates wrap the cost in. (But lets them collect larger deposits too to keep the cash flowing)
  17. Heard that little gem of a story earlier - they're not going to be the only ones. ?
  18. It's setting up to be a grim outlook for sailing in 2021. Hmm start cancelling and getting refunds, or just keep moving FCC forward?? Getting wary about having too much $$ exposure without a path to start sailing.
  19. Cruise Radio had a story from 9 Nov that Carnival had removed all 7 day and longer cruises until Oct 2021 from their planning website.
