Just because 4 people could actually fit in the room...This is a terrible idea!!! What time do you go to bed versus what time and how loud will be 2 boys entering and falling over your bed when they enter the room. The boys need a separate interior room, let them see the ocean from the pool deck.

Fitness classes - worth it? and questions
vjoe replied to MarkFamMan's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Sorry, I confused you. I meant at age 60 the spin class was way too much exercise, I made it through the whole class once. The price is $20 per class or included with the fitness pass which includes everything they offer. -

They have a morning stretch class that is free and an abs class. I always skip the abs! I buy the pass to get the yoga class which I love. It is $20 a class, sea days only. It's my favorite part of the cruise. There is a spin class included with the pass, but at 60 I spin my butt out the exit:) There is a 3rd class, can't remember. Anyway, I found the pass cheaper than the $20 per class even though I only used a third of what it offers. After yoga, I'm high all day. Go for it! -

I had a boardwalk Balcony on Symphony last November. The water slides obstructed the view to the aquatic show, but I liked looking over the boardwalk. I could see the ocean as well. I was very happy with the room. During the day, the noise with the balcony doors open was a little bit much. With the doors closed you could not hear a thing. At night there was so little noise on the boardwalk it wasn't noticeable with the doors open. Great room great cruise, loved it!

I wouldn't use a debit card. As you purchase items during the cruise, the system creates a pending sale. All week long your purchases will be held by the bank until they get the actual charge after the cruise. The big problem is that each individual pending takes about 2 weeks to clear because after the cruise they charge 1 total charge for 1 total amount and the individual charges linger for a while. Basically you could easily drain your account without knowing and have to wait. Use a real credit card

I always call club Royale to book a cruise, I'm Prime and usually get fantastic deals. They will put Prime on your sea pass card and you get free drinks. I play Blackjack and the points accrue terribly. I can't imagine getting signature with Blackjack, but slot players that I've talked with build it up effortlessly. Anyways call Club Royale, easy!

ROYAL'S FIRST EVER WORLD CRUISE!!!

I'm all-in for a world cruise. If I call tonight before the announcement will I get a discount?? -
Jim, no worries. Its a vacation. I travel solo about 75% of the time, anything that I like to do I always meet people over and over and make great friends. Like people seem to do like things! Piece of cake! I personally love getting a large table in main dining, meeting them and over the week chat every time we pass. I've had great success with my main dining family! I've found that everyone is off guard on a cruise, everyone is open to chatting. People are at ease and friendly. As for the fitness classes, most people are too busy eating to make it to the gym. My favorite class is yoga, smile and breath! Back to back they take you off as a group and bring you back on asap, no waiting for your appointed time

B2B? Pack up and get off the ship with everybody else!
vjoe replied to dswallow's topic in Royal Caribbean News and Rumors
I was on the 2nd and 3rd cruise of Odyssey of the Seas. They did require me to pack my bags, I had a room change. Royal up Junior Suite, so cool!!!!. Pre-covid you could leave your hanging clothes in the closet and pack the rest, but they wanted everything else in your suitcase. We tested onboard one day prior and I got the results about 8pm. We met as a group got checked in etc, walked off the ship, customs and back on board. The CDC has a record of ships that have covid issues. Red no sail, orange several cases, yellow very few cases and green no cases. I just looked at the CDC site and there are infections on several ships. The original plan didn't work, people got infected. You can't blame Royal or the guests for that, just means they have to tighten up the policy I much prefer Royal being as safe as possible so that I can continue sailing. I would rather endure a little aggravation than to go without like we have the past year and a half. I prefer b2b, it lowers the expense of the flight and I get to have as much fun with all new people. 7 Day cruises are way too short -
Instead of dress shoes I bring black water shoes. I have to hold my pant legs up while I walk, since there's no heel, but they take no room at all in the suitcase and I can wear them all week long on the beeches. I have never been caught

I was there in January, I booked international palms resort. It is ocean front, the room was fine, but dated. Fire pits, propane, and a cheap smores package to nibble at the fire. I liked it, $5 a night park and cruise package. The shuttle to the port was $20 round trip per person. The price was great, staff was friendly. I'd do it again for one night, not 2 though.
