The only miss was the Cesar Salad. It tasted fine but I like my salads cold. The plate was freezing but the lettuce was room temperature. Everything else was so good.

We decided to skip the show and went to the Casino after dinner tonight. It was a good decision.

I finally got everyone to sit for a picture as we sat down to dinner at Coastal Kitchen.

Listen, i feel like the underwear topic is now a dead horse and run its course, but I'm not clever enough to make this up. 
On our way to Gio's i brought my last 3 dang ducks. 
A boy about 10 or 11 was excited. He asks me if i found those ducks. 
Me: no, I'm hiding them, do you want them?
He asked if he could take one because he had found 2 and his little brother had not found any. 
I offered him all 3. He only took the football.
Along comes his older sister who is now in on middle brother's plan. 
Their plan? 
To hide the duck in ... little brother's underwear.

We Made it to the hotel. Had plans to go to bayside and eat and then come back to the hotel. No one felt like it so we went across the street for pub subs. Now we are headed to bed. Here are few pics from the hotel

Update 1 day to go:
I am officially packed. Thanks to @SweetPea I have triple checked to make sure I have underwear safely secured. 
 

I definitely overpacked but I like to have choices even when I’m probably going to be wearing only a handful of what I brought. We will see.
Rick wanted to get his vacation started early so instead of working today he worked overnight. I am currently letting him sleep. Parents are coming in about an hour to come pick us up and get this party started. 
 
So far this week I have secured the tickets for our 2 tours we are doing this cruise, I have been talking with Wendy to finalize arrival plans and instructions, and I got notification from Lyft to remind me of our 9:30 am pick up tomorrow to take us to the port.
I also checked us into the hotel last night for tonight’s stay. I didn’t even know this was a thing until Hilton emailed me yesterday. It was useful because I was able to pick our rooms. We will be on the 12th floor so great vantage point for the bay.
Did I mention I’m going on a cruise?

@WAAAYTOOO I thought she was kidding. He is bringing underwear and pants only. He ordered shirts, shoes and toiletries to her house, well she ordered them from Amazon for him.

….sending clothes to your mother so she can pack for him ?  Say WHAT ?  …and didn’t you say that he and your mother have never even met ?  …and he expects her to pack his underwear and sh*t ?

Vacation off to a good start: was scheduled to work 4am-2pm but the boss just got in and told me to leave whenever I want and get my vacation started- so I'll be rolling out of here no later than MAYBE noon...and that's a BIG maybe. Got the kids soccer game tomorrow morning about 20 minutes away (somehow the road games tend to be closer to home than the home games, which are about 40 minutes away) and that's my last commitment before the trip. 

Also, my mistake about the tram. Retraction: I got further deets. They were Pinnacles. They are on Oasis. They sound like they have a reputation and are known....

After a couple of changes we have our final schedule before boarding. Changes still may occur due pending show changes and chef table:

 
Wendy did say that it was a no go for Dr. Pepper so we are bringing our own. Wendy said she would get some from crew canteen. We told her we would be appalled if she spent her money on us this way but we’re touched by her generosity and thoughtfulness. On an a more positive note special cake requests seem to be a go so 🤞🏻they turn out. I am sure they will because I have seen some great cakes in the past.
Who wants to help me pack? I feel like my living room is still a mess and I haven’t accomplished anything. It will come together in the end I think 🙏🏻

I love Ducking, it gives me serious JOY! TBH I already have my ducks ready to go for our 2024 Graduation sailing, I could not wait!! 
It's a family thing too, we all like to look but kiddo and I hide them together. Dancing & laughing like a kid (me)

Yes, busy is putting it lightly. Kiddo is in the IB program plus is working towards some scholarships. She wants to go to either a technical school or a private catholic college for a BS in nursing to start. Proud mama here she just passed her TEAS!! The costs are crushing but we expected it. We promised ourselves we didn't want her to have crippling debt. She works at Culver's restaurant to pay her car insurance & car payment. The senior year in High School includes 100 plus volunteer hours and CAS for 18 months straight, which entails Creativity, Service & Activity. To add to that an additional project and an extended essay on nuclear energy. Our calender is a disaster, we don't stop....but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Well, a sooner sailing would be cool, LOL!

We did go to Blaze last night, but they were holding the comedy show there. So no dancing, no clubbing. 
That would've been the safer bet.

So then we tried Playmakers again, which was mad stupid considering it was Monday night. 
We then thought we'd try the Schooner Bar. Is the Schooner Bar the old people hang out? I mean i know we're old, but we do not yet have matching haircuts old. 
So we wound up back with Jackson at G&A.
Big mistake. 
Huge. 
The second he saw us, i saw the beginnings of lemon drop shots which we did not order. 
Batman said, nah, they aren't for us. 
I'll let you figure out where that went. And it ends with us not being rude and refusing them. It was the polite thing to do after all.

We are taking it slow today and tonight because we although we're idiotically unfrugal, i did not spend $1799 +tax for us 2 idiots to sleep in our OTW cabana all day tmw. (Even more stupid ... $1799 was a great price! It climbed to over $2400).
Dinner tonight at CK and then some Headliner show. And if we're smart, bed. 
However,  I think we've all figured out by now that "smart" doesn't exactly belong in this blog ....
