  1. Yes. Royal Caribbean doesn't care where anyone sleeps or hangs out ! The only thing that you may have to worry about is having keys for the different rooms but you can go to Guest Services and have additional keys made for the rooms as long as they can verify that everyone is in the same party.
  2. I always take a shoe organizer and I've never had anyone question it. I've certainly never heard anything about them being forbidden.
  3. That's a very difficult age as they are too old for some things and too young for others. Hopefully they will find other young adults to bond with. I'm sure they'll have a great time !
  4. It is definitely a "one and done" kind of thing. Once you've had the robot prepare a drink for you it's like...ok...no more of that.... The one and only drink we had it make was awful. Never went back...but it's always in a a prime location and walking around it is a PITA.
  5. Beautiful suite. I love it. The only thing I didn't care for was the toilet closet. I don't know why anyone wants to put a toilet in a closet but they do it all the time !! Really lovely.
  6. I agree. I loved the Champagne bar. I sure hope they do NOT replace it with a bionic bar. What a total waste of real estate.
  7. Yes, we have always gotten an email from the Grandeur Concierge prior to boarding. I have been getting emails about 5 days prior. We used to get them about a week ahead but lately it's been a bit closer. Frances was the Concierge on Grandeur the last time we sailed. He is a great Concierge. The Grand Suite on Grandeur is a very nice step up. You will definitely appreciate the extra space - very noticeable on that ship. The only complaint I have about all of the big suites on the Vision class ships is that they are all shoved way up at the front of the ship. I also noticed a lot of noise from the Windjammer on our Christmas/NY cruise last year. ...but we love the suites on Grandeur. Enjoy your cruise !!
  8. That's my top price, too. I have drinks packages on every cruise I have booked except for the Thanksgiving Brilliance cruise. It has not gone below $52 and if it does not fall below $49 we are just going to "wing" it.
  9. Yikes ! So sorry that this happened but so happy that they didn’t cancel the cruise ! i would be in the cussing and crying category.
  10. Strangling the hubby causes real hard feelings. ??
  11. Don’t let those mother-scratchers take your luggage ! You may have to fight them but keep your luggage with you until AFTER you check in with the SC greeter. They will try and fool you by making you think they are SC porters but don’t fall for it ! ??
  12. Too funny !! Yes, I have run into the same problem with the eligible lists. I have, from time-to-time, been able to get an updated list with cruises further into the future, but far more often, I have not been able to get such a list. Keep trying ! And good luck !
  13. Unless the free annual Prime tier comp cruise works differently in Oz than it does in the US, there is no list to choose from. You should be able to book any cruise, 8 nights or less, not during a holiday. If you have a certificate that lists a bunch of sailings on the back, it would be a certificate that you earned while on a cruise, not the annual Prime tier comp cruise. I recommend that you call back again and make it clear that you are looking to book your annual Prime tier comp cruise. If the rules are different than here in the US, then I apologize for confusing you.
  14. Yes, she was out for an Easter break. I think she is back now.
  15. Allure for Christmas. AWESOME! You are going to love it. Envious !!
  16. My MEI agent (Michelle Cunningham) has never had a problem moving cruises even if it has been more than 60 days and even when they were paid in full !
  17. Don’t count on this being accurate, but USUALLY, the lower deck is for traditional and the higher deck is for MTD. I’m sure there are plenty of exceptions to that, but I have noticed, over the years, that trend.
  18. BTW, San Francisco is directly next door to Paradise and there is -0- fee to get in
  19. There is a free beach, San Francisco beach, which is a few minutes and cheap taxi ride away. Maybe not the greatest but we went there a few years ago and had a blast. You can buy drinks and get food a la cartel so whatever you want to spend.
