It is not showing up on my October Oasis either, and is not showing on my Allure for lunch. Must be a Royal IT undocumented feature!
-
This sounds similar to an issue I had very recently. I wasn't receiving my offers. It turns out that, since I paid for and checked in several family members past years, Royal had 9 C&A records with my email address as primary. I suspect that may be the case with you and your MIL and your family son. I understand that this can frequently halt all emails about promotions. A call to Club Royale can straighten it out. Be prepared with Birthdates, email addresses and C&A numbers for your family members.

This has been reported from several news outlets. Here is a link to the page on the WHO site: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/advice-for-public/when-and-how-to-use-masks
-
Just this morning the WHO declared that nobody should wear a mask unless they are caring for an infected person or are an individual exhibiting symptoms. Which is in direct conflict with recently shifted CDC opinion. Which is right? Which is wrong? I agree: trust science. But what if you cant trust the scientist? Real scientists that is, not made for television self proclaimed experts who make the rounds and tell a different story depending on which network is paying them.

And, from my experience, playmakers, portside BBQ and Johnny Rockets are available on port days for lunch.

For me, I would look at it the same way I do waiting to board an overbooked flight and they begin soliciting volunteers. I would have to see the offer and make a decision. Some bookings are flexible for us, others are not. Air, hotel, itinerary all are the factors. Sky Class on the Oasis out of Bayonne needs room? Offering Star Class on the Symphony out of Miami the next day and they will cover the First Class Air? Yes. Keep the original booking ship, itinerary and port but 2 weeks later with a 50% FCC ... maybe. Keep everything the same but 1 week later with a $100 OBC? No, it isn't worth the time to reprint the luggage tags. I'm not trying to take a hardline at all. Based on history, I would expect RCL to come through for their customers.

OJ for the cocktail, pineapple or, more often, sour mix for the shots. I'm not sure if I should happy or not that I recalled that .... ????

I think I would be tempted to replace the vodka with Jameson, shake, and strain into a martini glass ... still thinking about a garnish ?

@Pima1988 Thanks for the classic drink references! It takes me back to the era of upside down Margheritas!

I have seen the capacity published at 450. I believe this includes the 20 overwater and 10 beach cabanas which have a total capacity of 240.

My understanding of the CWC cancellation policy for FCC is the same as yours. Alternatively, the Lift and Shift program must be invoked on or before August 1, 2020.

@WAAAYTOOO thank you for this! I hadn't checked, but see that ours are extended until 2022 also. I'm conflicted: the flexibility is great, but I was liking that I was "forced" to add a booking before 3,/2021. ?? Since status has also been already extended until 3/31/2022, I am wondering if we will be accumulating points until then for 2022-2023 status, or gathering points until 3/31/2021 for more advanced status for 2021-2022? This may still be a TDB ?

Richard Fain: “We’re Not Sure When We’re Coming Back”

While the contagious part is true (at least based on what we know today), there is ongoing discussion whether there will be an unintended effect here. With access to the medical industry artificially blocked by the lockdown, cancer diagnoses have all but ceased. There is concern that this will lead to higher death rate in the near future and that those losses could exceed the theoretical covid 19 lives saved by the shutdown. ? -
Name something GOOD that has come out of the CV isolation.

I agree that, at least for now, some aspects of this situation are safer: Very few are driving, skiing, sky diving, going down the Ultimate Abyss, etc. At the same time, many "standard" causes (pneumonia, cancer, heart issues) seem under reported or miscounted. Of course, long term, is staying sequestered and avoiding risky undertakings a predictor of a safer society or, are we inviting other afflictions? (Sorry ... I had no intention to sound like a philosophy professor ??) -

The US, like Canada, has published statistics showing nearly all Covid19 attributed deaths are those over 70. I say "published" and "atrributed" as our statistics are very much suspect at this point. While the virus attributed deaths are high, all other causes of death have plummeted during this time period. In fact, the overall number of deaths for all causes in the US is at 50% of where historical data would estimate. -
Like many exam questions, the answer was in the question: "If you both have on pants, no on gets much pee on them." ???????

I still believe that this was much ado about nothing. All of the consequences, including the extended loss of cruising, are the result of the overreaction and the senseless political battle that this all has become.
