I’m looking at an Oasis 7 night Western Caribbean sailing. It would be 2 adults and 2 kids (14 and 6).  I get the loft is on 17 so close to the lounge and CK and the additional bathroom is a HUGE plus. From what I’ve seen in photos and video walkthroughs, the OS is larger with larger balcony, plus I like the fact it has a large table so we could eat in room more comfortably.

We will be sailing on Allure in a 2 bedroom AQ a few months before this one.

    Which would you pick?

    Crown Loft our favorite cabin.

Sounds like you need a new Agent.

Glad you were able to get it squared away.  The OS is awesome.  You will really enjoy it.

We will be sailing with you on the Oasis 12-06-2020. See you in the Suite Lounge. Hopefully we will be able to cruise in the near future.

$20/day and the best $ you will ever spend as far as a parking experience goes. Your really close to the ship and when it’s time to leave you can zip right out of there with no hassles.

Sailed on the Allure this January. Paid $15 per day, $105 for our 7 night cruise.

Just got our RoyalUp email today,  59 days out. Not going to. Happy where we are in a Grand Suite. Don't feel it's worth any bid to upgrade. Lowest bid to upgrade to Star Class is $900 PP for the ATS 2 BR.

Received a Royal Up e-mail for our May 03, 2020 Harmony cruise. Ours is also 59 days out. Made a bid for a one category upgrade.

I’m also on the 8th of March cruise in a junior suite. The last Crown Loft suite was booked about 6 months ago. I watched the pricing for months but couldn’t pull the trigger. Down to 7 weeks now - can’t wait.

I got a Royal-Up email about two weeks ago.

Keep checking daily. Just found a Crown Loft this past Sunday on the Harmony sailing March 29, 2020.

The Panoramic Suites (Grand and Owner’s) on Oasis and Allure are original builds.  They have been on these ships from the beginning.  Starting with a Harmony, they removed these 2 suites to make room for the Coastal Kitchen kitchen. The “new” SC suites are the Ultimate Panoramic Suites which were added last fall. They are far forward (above the bridge) and have no balcony at all.

I stayed in the Grand Panoramic Suite on Oasis in a December. I loved this suite.  Yes, the balcony is very small. That is only downside of this suite, IMO. We loved that it had no stairs as all of the other S.C. suites (excepting the ATS) do. We have the Owner’s Panoramic booked (Oasis) for Dec 6, 2020, Jan 9-16, 2022 and Jan 16-23, 2022.

I have never even been in the Royal Loft Suite but I’m certain that it would be incredible. I would avoid it due to the stairs but if stairs aren’t an issue for you, I would say get it if you can ! Check out the very recent Rags1 live blog.

As far as privacy goes, it is not an issue, IMO.  I wouldn’t give that another thought.

We also book all of our SC cruises through the casino. The casino discount isn’t nearly as it used to be but it still beats paying full price !

The suites were added after the 1st drydock for both the Oasis and Allure. They were built in the space previously occupied by the Pinnacle Lounge and the Chapel. We sailed 3 times in the Star Lofts, 1718 twice and 1720 once.

The Pinnacle Lounge mentioned had nothing to do with today's Crown and Anchor status. It was open to everyone. Area where the Suite Lounge and Coastal Kitchen were added was previously the Viking Crown.

  8. Previously adjusted

, with this current promotion, 3 of our future cruises saving a net average of over $100 a cruise. Took the additional $300 On Board Credit instead of our $275 Crown and Anchor discount. All were 7 night cruises.

Today booked a 7 night cruise sailing March 29, 2020 on the Harmony. Net saving was $150 taking the $300 On Board Credit instead of our $250 Crown and Anchor discount.

  9. Service, ambiance and location are the main reasons for us. We always stay in a full suite and eat all of our meals in the Coastal Kitchen. Will eat there 60 days this year.

To us the best nights are when they serve the filet and lobster. The wait staff are excellent.

The only times when we ate at specialty restaurants were when we twice sailed in Star Class. While specialty restaurants may be better, we prefer to spend any additional money for a full suite cabin.
