  1. I think you can actually make a poll in a topic vs this text response. That said late & like (on concept really so far, haven't had it first cruise with the switch but we're also in a JS so don't know if we'll still get twice daily or not)
  2. Seeing the posts about it being a mistake and incoming refunds makes me sad but okay. I still never got my lucky chance to even try but since it looks like it's going away, no harm done
  3. From what i remember it won't ask you to give names or anything like that. I think if you hit yes you get a text box to explain what happened. Like Matt said, they can (and i believe are expected to) remind you of the survey same way you'll hear people in retail say there's a survey at the bottom of the receipt. And they may tip toe into that grey area a bit by saying " 1 is the lowest, 10 is best" but if they directly ask for a 10, a high rating, or a good score that's a big no no.
  4. It seems so random which sailings they're opening it up for. Kinda aggravating for those of us who can't get in at all..... I've tried "packages", "package", "premier" and "premiere" and I keep getting the same great things are coming page. I know I'm not the only one failing to get the info but it is still frustrating. I wouldn't even care if I did get it then it's cancelled, I just want the option.
  5. Alright...no luck for me on that route. He was able to figure out what it was by talking to his coworkers and he sees that "that package does exist" but "not for [your sailing]...yet. it may show up as it gets closer" which I then said, well..i saw someone get it for November Harmony....and he was just like "all I can advise you to do is wait and see. I can see the package exists but I don't have anything on my end to book it for you. If I did, I would." So that was a strike out
  6. The advice in the other thread also cautions against cancelling anything as this may be a royal IT error (the value is almost quadruple the cost) and it may get pulled once they figure it out
  7. On the phone now trying to do what @TXcruzer did but Robert hasn't heard of it before. I'm now on hold while he (probably) panics and tries to figure out what this thing is
  8. is it showing up in your purchases on the site? I thought about doing this but didn't think it would take if its not showing for our sailing.
  9. Hmmm...while do thin a fresh side salad could be nice I can see where it might be difficult. Lettuce would wilt next to the heat of the ovens so they'd have to have a more powerful cooling tray. And pre-dressed salads don't do well in large batches so there would either need to be self-serve dressing or a subway-like system for the staff to dress your salad as it's made behind the glass. BUT I do think they have the capacity as is to do the bread or cheesesticks so I think that might be a good idea to pass along to Royal. Also...dipping sauces. I love me a good dipping sauce Lol
  10. Hopped on my computer to make sure desktop mode on my phone wasn't stiffing me but I still don't have that header. mine ends at Gift & Gear and still no luck forcing it.
  11. In the screenshot posted above it reads like 1 package covers 2 people. So ..88.99 would be for 2... Right?
  12. Here's hoping they do the same thing and let those who manage to snag it keep it at the same cost. I'm certainly trying to find a way to be one of those people.
  13. Pretty much same. I hate bruts cuz they're so dry but I hear they're great for mimosas so really about a great way to start off the cruise! Then to get that tour AND priority on & off... IT'S SO MUCH GOOD!
  14. it's not showing up for my August Harmony sailing when I look at VIP packages it only shows the key and when I try the URL hack I get a "new stuff coming soon" page. I want it so bad! We paid 250 for internet! This would be a steal!
  15. Playing a bit of Devil's advocate but is it really worth it to pay about $30 less for 80 less photos? I do agree the physical ones are a bit of a pain (I think all of ours are the dreaded photo box and we only scanned in ones we wanted to post on social media) but you can always make them digital with a traditional scanner or even a smartphone scan app. Obviously, I support you doing what is best for you (and on a smaller ship there may be less opportunities for photos outside of the dinner time booths, but just wanted to stir the pot a little.
  16. Liquid IV is a water additive that you drink that supposedly magically gets you more hydration. The hows and whos and whys of it escape me but I've heard of several people using them to boost their hydration when they may not be able to physically drink 64+ oz. Jordan Bauth (the Royal Ice Skater) and Sherri on Cruise Tips TV both use them.
  17. Howdy! I was just asking the forums the same thing and folks offered really good suggestions. Here's the thread:
  18. While I haven't been on Grandeur, the age and size of the ship would lead me to believe this is correct. For thickness reference, a stack of 100 8x10s is about 3 inches high. (We got all physical on our first Freedom cruise in 2015 - back then the digital option meant getting them burned onto a CD or a flash drive or something and was an additional cost)
  19. Just tested mine and cleared out some old favorites. Removed without any issue.
  20. Oh wow....if they're in Grand Suites then it's definitely not a space issue...fascinating. Just watched a video of a GS and JS on Wonder and the half glass door follows through on that too. *sigh* well....I've showered in a half door set up before. My dislike, more than the threat of water splashing out, is cold air getting in. Nothing worse than a cool breeze while you're sopping wet
