@andy keep in mind the Refreshment package includes the specialty coffees at Cafe Promenade, bottled water, fresh squeezed OJ at breakfast also... ?

Just a tip in case you want to purchase a shot of rum or something to make your mocktail a cocktail, I found on my cruise that the shots cost as much as a cocktail does.  I had the refreshment package thinking I could jazz up my included drinks for not much money and was shocked by the price of a shot.  So I only did that once.  Luckily I didn't feel like I missed out on much staying sober the rest of the cruise, and was still very happy with the refreshment package.

Most mocktails are around $8 or so

Yes, you can get pool/beach towels as you need them from the pool deck. Return by the end of the cruise.
Yes, but you need to return them.
Any unreturned towels will cost you $25 per towel.

andy reacted to twangster in Surf and Stream - 3 Devices - can you switch
Yes, but you may need to log out one device before logging in on the next device.
Once you reach your maximum allowed devices it will report an error trying to log in another device.  On some ships you are given the option of kicking off an existing device. On some ships you must manually log out a device before trying to log in on another.  Visit logoff.com or logout.com to terminate the session on one device then log in on the next.
Remember to logout a device when done with it if you plan to leave it behind.  Say you have a tablet logged in in the cabin then you grab your phone and head to dinner.  If your tablet is still logged in resting back in the cabin you might be denied trying to log in your phone in the dining room.
With a multi-device plan you are better to get in the practice of manually logging out otherwise it might kick off someone else's device and they don't realize they've been disconnected and they aren't getting your text messages.

Yes you will get a login and password which you can enter on any device. It will automatically kick you from the previous device.

@andy  If you are interested in the podcast, you can listen on your computer right from this RCB website.  Here is the link:  https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/podcast
Also, good job on booking some of the shows in advance.  With ~6000 passengers on board, not everyone can see the shows at the same time.  I usually book the best show times first, and then make my dinner reservations second.  Sounds like you are off to a great start!

A taxi/Lyft/Uber will almost always be cheaper for more than one person than taking the shuttle.  At a minimum the shuttles run $20/person.

We paid $33 for a cab for 3 people from the port to the airport last month.  The transfer place wanted $15 a person.

PS.  I should add that at 16, my son was very interested in the ship's teen club.  He spent most of the day with them (unless we had excursions in port), so what they wore influenced his dress code, except for long pants at dinner.

As a teen, my son wore shorts all the time, except in the MDR, where he wore whatever long pants he had.    If you set a good example, the kids will follow.....eventually.  But as they say in Australia "no worries".

My teens did exactly this.  I think my son wore jeans on a couple casual nights.  On formal night, he stayed with khakis and a button down shirt but my girl teens had a blast dressing up big-time.
Like Matt said, this is only mdr seatings and my time.  My son still wore khakis to the specially but he wouldn't have had to.  Also, my teens decided at least one night that they were done with big meals and they ate at windjammer without us (and my husband and I had date night).  On the next cruise, my daughter was always meeting friends during the 8pm seating and so we'd keep her company at the windjammer earlier and then go eat at the mdr.  Jane

The dress code applies to all guests, regardless of age. Keep in mind it only applies to the main dining room and for dinner only.
That being said, it's a guideline and very loosely enforced. Please do not read "formal night" and assume your teens need to wear something reserved for prom.
So he could wear a polo shirt and khakis, while your daughter could wear a sun dress or blouse/skirt.
