  1. I agree completely. There are many challenges and obstacles to overcome in the near term, but crew vaccines, I feel, will not be one of them.
  2. University of Texas Medical Branch will be vaccinating crew on 2 Carnival ships at the Port of Galveston next week .
  3. The entire security force, it seems, on my last few trips.
  4. Almost every trip, I am frustrated near the end by the “ghost” charges for missing pool towels.
  5. I can’t believe that have held out as long as they have. Their CEO seems to have a pretty staunch anti vaccine policy, that may be coming into play.
  6. This is precisely what is happening in north TX. Anyone over 16 can get a shot same day now, if you do not, your safety is now on you.
  7. The same CSO, that everyone agrees is un-workable in its current form.
  8. So Bahamas choice to allow in vaccinated people without a PCR test "improves their chances immensely", but the US will never do that because it runs counterproductive to obtaining herd immunity?
  9. Alaska has an entire different set of challenges to address, the CDC is just the start.
  10. Very interesting, thanks. Lots of information to the contrary out there, even from the EU website, stating member states were not permitted to independently lift travel bans. It appears Cyprus has gone rogue
  11. Cyprus is part of the EU. Currently American citizens are not permitted entry to the EU.
  12. And with today’s announcement that the declaration of “Public Health Emergency” has been extended, the can has been kicked further down the road.
  13. A requirement to show proof of vaccine for entry does NOT violate HIPAA regulations. HIPAA laws ONLY apply to healthcare providers and certain 3rd party payers (insurance companies et. al)
  14. This data will mean absolutely nothing to the CDC, economics is not their concern, they have shown that very clearly.
  15. Pfizer officially applied for EUA expansion to 12 years old and up this afternoon.
  16. Didn't the cruiseline's already say the guidance put forth was un-workable?
  17. Would be no problem here, anyone can make an appointment. Average state wait time is less than 1 week.
  18. Yes sir, TX wide open for vaccine appointments. The state received 2.5 million first doses for this week.
  19. The Governor can not forbid a private business from making their own rules regarding entry.
  20. As it relates to cruising, there is no reason to be excited.
  21. I think Royal (and all other lines) are being as transparent as they need to be. Any consumer, that does not know the realities of the market, and books, is responsible for their own decision. The "sally" dates for the FCCs gets extended periodically as the stoppage drags on.
