A save for later feature in the cart would be nice.
I always make my purchases separate though just for the ease of tracking refunds later.

Typically breakfast in Chops is reserved for suite guests and I assume pinnacles. I have never seen it open to the general public.

I'm pretty sure the Chops breakfast is not included for Jr Suites,  it's for Grand Suite and above.

I hope everything was worked out to your satisfaction! Here's a screenshot that may be helpful in the future (and you may be aware of this). When you select your cabin when using Royal's website,  such as interior shown here, the little blue box to the right will say "View Details". Click it to view some details about the room, including the beds. This example is from an Interior on Grandeur but I'm assuming,  and maybe I shouldn't,  all ships would include this information.
I hope the rest of your family's cruising experiences are wonderful!

Technically they did offer you are cabin that accommodates your party. Beds for children and Pullmans for adults.

A good travel agent would be aware of the room configurations and find you a room that's available with the sofa bed accommodations you are seeking or suggest other ships that might have those options.
Most inside cabins are smaller and would not have the space for a sofa bed, which is why they tend to have pullmans.  A solution if you really need the cheaper in price accommodations and are concerned with safety would be to sleep the children on the beds and put the adults in the pullmans.  It's not ideal, but it would give you back the floor space.

I disagree that there is no way to identify staterooms with a sofa bed. Deck plans show which rooms have a convertable sofa vs. Pullmans. Do your homework before booking. Is it quick and easy during the booking process? No. Is it impossible to get the information in advance? Also no.
I would also note that the implications that Royal should not allow a room with Pullmans to be booked with children younger than "permitted" to use a Pullman or that Royal is not "accomodating a family with young children" because of the existence of Pullmans as the lower cost option are both invalid. If you want the cheaper stateroom, the children can use the regular beds and the parents can use the Pullmans. We did exactly this when our youngest child was seven but very small - regular beds were Mom and youngest, Pullmans were Dad and older child.

Check the cruise compass for the time each day they set up toys for toddlers - usually in the morning in the teen area. If your child won't be potty trained yet, the nursery is your only option  - so make sure you visit right upon boarding and get the paperwork filled out and make as many reservations as they will let you - usually 2 or 3 to start off (this does cost like $6/hr whereas Adventure Ocean has no cost). Bring bags to put dirty diapers in, and take those to the hallway or public restroom trash cans - those are emptied much more frequently. If your little likes specific dry snacks, take a good supply. Bring WAY more diapers than you think you will need. I recommend an entire box. If you're travelling to the port, have Amazon deliver a box to the hotel and then just check it with your luggage. You can get milk in the Windjammer and all sorts of fruits, etc. throughout the day. Call and and ask them to put a pack n play in your room. Children under 3 are not allowed to sleep in the berths. Do NOT bring your giant stroller on board, there will be no where to put it. Invest in a collapsible umbrella stroller. I never used the stroller on board, but utilized baby wearing everywhere because it was much easier to get around not having to wait for elevators or be a nuisance to other guests in hallways. Be prepared for interruptions in sleep patterns and pack a big bag of patience! We liked to order the free continental breakfast room service with fruits and pastries to let our littles get something while we got ready to go to breakfast - it bought us time and peace. Also, be prepared to be somewhat isolated from your group to manage nap times - I was caught off guard how isolating it can be to manage nap times and bed times and found that it usually fell to me to manage. Make sure y'all make agreements on expectations for coverage otherwise you'll find it always falls to mom, and it feels like everyone else gets to have all the fun while you're stuck in the cabin at nap time and in the evenings. If you're planning to go to the beach, I found packing some collapsible sand buckets and a few sand toys was useful.

In my experience, most people wait until the staterooms are open to go change for swimming, and closer to sail away time because that's when the activity on the pool deck starts to pick up. So it won't be super crowded right out of the gate. I recommend, after completing muster check in, going directly to Adventure Ocean and getting paper work filled out and time to tour - you little one will be excited about that too. Then eat, make all your dinner reservations if you need to. But then your room will be open and you candrop off your stuff and change and head to the pool deck. My kids are always excited to explore the ship before getting in the pool.

If you are getting the Key, you should get early boarding privileges.  Use them to your advantage and prioritize things you will do when you get on board.  I would do the following:
Visit muster station Check into Adventure Ocean with the kiddo to get her signed up there. Go eat the Key Lunch Go wild on the pool deck I bet you can be in the pool with your daughter by 12:30 with this plan.

Laundry is putting all your selected stuff into a mesh bag and washing it on hot.

So anything you have any specific preferences for, I wouldn't put them out for ship laundry.

Momof4crazytocruise reacted to Pattycruise in What to do with Drink Vouhers-Diamond, D+ and Pinnacle
I had read from someone on here that at the end of the night they use their unused drink vouchers to get soda or beer to gift to their stateroom attendant. I have done that on many cruises, and last cruise expanded to include the barista in the coffee shop (gave him Truly's-he was very happy).  Anyhow while sitting at the casino bar on Anthem my friend and I noticed a guest sign a paper.  The guest is definitely Prime in the casino (drinks free) so there was no need to sign for drinks.  Being curious we asked what he signed and he said he signed his Diamond vouchers over to the bartendar so they go to his account for use in the crew bar.  I've never heard of this.  So my friend promtply told the bartendar he wanted to donate his own Diamond vouchers for the day to him and he signed over his drinks.  So if anyone is looking for an alternative plan for unused drink vouchers, here is one!

We didn't book through RC (except one we had to replace last minute due to weather) and I don't want to try to remember what that trip cost, lol, but it was worth it.

The Key Bridge in Baltimore was struck by a cargo ship and collapsed into the water. The whole bridge just fell... some autos and work vehicles were on the bridge. Looks like Vision of the Seas is out for a few days, so I guess we will see if there is any impact or delay in them getting back. Really crazy video of the bridge collapsing....

Look, if I were to see someone wearing non-gender conforming swimwear, I would a) mind my own business or b) compliment them because they probably wear it better than me. Do what you want. There are always going to be people who think their way is the only way, no matter where you are. Most of us, however, don't care what you wear.

Momof4crazytocruise got a reaction from michaelp1446 in How Accepting is the Cruising Experience?
Honestly, no one can be certain - but I know from me and mine we wouldn't think twice about it. People are people are people. Be kind, be polite, be respectful of the crew, and I don't care, male/female, purple/green - if you're there to have fun, you're all right with me. As far as weird looks or judgement - none of that you can control, but I will say most people I have met on cruisers are very accepting, or are more worried about the people in their own party than to even notice anything like you describe. Cruising is what you make of it - if you're bored or unhappy, that's of your own doing. Go into it deciding you will have a great time, and you will have a great time.

No it is not as good as a real coffee shop.
It's a push-button automatic, where you'll see a shot of steam and hot water, a shot of something milky and a shot of something that is assumed to be coffee.  Sometimes simultaneously.  And I like it.
It doesn't always work, but folks on this board say when it's not working, empty the grounds bin and it will start working again.  There's not always somebody in the lounge to tend to these things.

Historically, I've spent very little time in the Diamond Lounge.  But specifically because of this latte machine, I find myself spending more time in this lounge.  Coffee is always available, and what it lacks, is made up for with the froo-froo in the coffee.  I absolutely prefer the darkest roast possible, and that's not available in the free venues.  The coffee in the Diamond Lounge is also not dark roast, but the latte/mocha additions help a whole bunch.  And I don't even know the difference between a latte, cappuccino  and/or mocha.  It is all good to me.😋

I use my voucher for Caribbean Coconut at Cafe Promenade in the afternoon to supplement Crown Lounge cap in the AM. As others have said, lounge espresso is OK but not great. Sometimes I buy a coffee card.
