  1. It's hard to say what the fair thing to do is. I always tip on these drinks. If you give cash to the waiter, is that fair to the bartender and other support staff?
  2. We just got off Adventure and the internet was the best I've ever experienced on a ship. Maybe on some ships they're still working out the kinks.
  3. The new terminal is beautiful and incredibly fast. It's a huge improvement.
  4. Now that Diamonds get 4 drink vouchers and they are used, even when in the Diamond lounge, the lounges have been pretty much empty. That's been my experience since the policy changed.
  5. Does anyone know if you can book it onboard and tranfer it to American Airlines travel agency?
  6. They leave it on your bed with your luggage tags. I've gotten it on all my cruises. Maybe you thought it was the compass and three it out accidentally.
  7. Just an fyi, Allure is in Galveston. You can see it on their webcam.
  8. Cafe al Bacio is wonderful but their regular coffee is Lavazza and it is very good too.
  9. I didn't think about that but should it be shared, what about the bar tender and other staff? I don't know what would be better.
  10. Maybe it would encourage people to tip when they get their free drinks. We always give cash as there is no other way to tip now but it would be easier just to add a tip to the receipt.
  11. Sounds like you would be happier pursuing other vacation options. Why be angry? You have nearly infinite choices.
  12. I thought it sounded reasonable but that was the majority of responses I got. I guess there's always risk and it really is hard to know what to do sometimes. Thanks
  13. Is it that much easier to fly out of Fll? I asked the same question about disembarking and flying out of Miami and people thought I was cutting it close at 11:15.
  14. I've booked both Royal on Celebrity and Celebrity on Royal and at least in my case, they gave me the current promotions. That's why I book onboard. Maybe other people had different experiences.
  15. He's clearly attention seeking.
  16. I've used both the ship's shuttle and private shuttle companies without any problem. One time, I believe it was May, the cost of Uber was over $300 to get to Bush and something like $180 to get to Hobby. That uncertainty caused me a lot of stress and so that is why I've since used both the ship's shuttle and private companies. When Allure arrives with all the added people, all bets are off.
  17. The atmosphere is nice but the menu is very limited.
  18. How about considering just the logistics. How many ports can accept a ship that large? I don't know anything about the layout but it could also be just too crowded. I know a lot of people live in very large cities but many people really don't enjoy such crowds.
  19. Don't shoot the messenger but Grand Suites on Liberty don't get free internet. They have a strange way of giving out perks.
  20. Sorry, Suite lounge is for Grand suites and above. The last time I was on Liberty in January, they weren't even letting Pinnacles in. That may have changed but Junior suites have never had access.
  21. We stayed in an Owner's suite on Grandeur which is essentially the same ship. We were under the Windjammer and yes, there was a lot of noise, both early in the morning and until it closed around 9pm. I was surprised that they put the best suites in such a noisy spot but they did.
  22. I definitely understand your frustration, but don't get too carried away booking all inclusives. We went to 3 different all inclusives during the shut down and for us, cruising is more enjoyable. Also, beware of the timeshare pitches. They can get aggressive.
  23. WRONG! My next cruise leaves Sept 11, so it will almost certainly be Sept 12th.
  24. I think you have all the answers to my questions. Thanks.
