You’re saying the Thrill Waterpark tickets were $1,050.00 per person??? Highest I’ve seen em go is $150, kinda seems like maybe you’re over exaggerating?

there is a a really fun ride called Wings over Washington. If you have been to Disney's California Adventure and ridden Soaring over California, its basically the same ride but Washington themed.
This went RIGHT on my list for our one day in Seattle! That’s one of my favorite rides in that park. Thanks!!

Completely agreed on the weak drinks. I only drink vodka while on board and can have 10+ a day and never feel drunk in the slightest. At home I can pour 1 cocktail with about 2 shots in it and not need to make a second drink.
We have found that ordering a shot and a drink at the same time is the best recourse so you can add it in and sortaaaa taste the liquor.

and then they switched us to a plane coming in from San Diego.
It's a goorrgeous, sunny, 70º day in San Diego! It’s bringing the best luck and good weather for the rest of your voyage!!!

Wait, for all of you who are packing prior to the night before the trip - what about the wrinkles?! I bought the 3oz Downy spray everyone suggests, but it doesn’t actually do anything once I’m on board. I always pack the night before we go so my dresses spend less time rolled up inside my bag! I do, however, start my packing list years in advance, hahaha.
PS. I also reeeeally like both Star Wars rides (only been to 'Land in California, though) and I am also not a Star Wars fan at all. Rise of the Resistance is my favorite ride now! It’s that awesome!

I am even contemplating AC again for Europe next summer
We took AC to Greece last summer by way of Montreal and had such an amazing experience! We were severely delayed leaving Athens and nearly missed our Montreal connection but the gate attendant re-opened it for us and sent us down anyway. I know she did not have to do that!! We were only in premium economy (a step above steerage) but it was well worth the money as we got to fly first on two of the legs. One day I will be an all FC-flying, full-suite snob like you!!

I’ve done this a few times before…yes, I know it’s a bit deceitful but at the same time…it works!
This works PERFECTLY for my husband and I because he can easily call and say he’s Daryl and no one ever questions it. His name is Adrian so it works the same way for me! I hate talking on the phone (literally the only business I don’t mind calling is RCCL) so he’s the “adult” amongst us who handles customer service reps.

I booked a kayak excursion to Mendenhall for September and I’m hoping my excursion/transportation there is not affected! I have not received any cancelation as of now.

Worst part of RC food for me is lack of seasoning. They’re trying to appeal to everyone! Hands down the best food I have had are all Indian dishes because I have to assume they don’t hold off on the spices, while the only seasoning Royal uses in traditional dishes is salt.
That being said I have never had THAT bad of a meal on a Royal ship. Since its all included, having merely adequate fare is all I was promised and is part of the price I pay. If I want top notch food, I gotta pay more.
I have seen a LOT of Royal commercials and they never highlight dining; they showcase rock climbing, ice skating, flow riding etc. Meals that suffice are what I paid for!

Another helpful tip: proposals should always be done during the early parts of a vacation, never the later parts.
Yes! As someone who was proposed to on vacation this made the whole thing so much more fun! We actually signed a contract together for a vacation timeshare right before he proposed so he thought I knew, but I just really like vacationing.

Do I have to ask about the drink of the day? I was looking at the boards they have on each bar but noticed they weren't specific for the day....
I am pretty sure I have only seen them listed on those bar top ad boards you mention. I definitely noticed them swapping those out since the content changed daily! I BELIEVE it should be on the back side of these mini sandwich boards? We never got the “keep the glass” version but that’s because we’ve always had the DBP. The price on the image I found leads me to believe it’s super old but I definitely saw the DOTD advertised on my March 2023 on Brilliance!

Not to de-rail the thread, but this is a related question...
Are there ever happy hours offering discounted drinks?
This would be good for light drinkers such as myself whom makes no sense to purchase a drink package.
There is a rotating Drink of the Day which is priced around 25% cheaper than it is found on the menu!

Funny, mine keeps me logged in at all times and when I go to price a cruise, I only have to click on the "Enter additional promo codes for any exclusive rates” link and it auto populates my C&A number for me. Maybe it’s your browser settings? I use Safari 15.5 and let it remember my RCCL password.

At first glance I thought “that looks like Julie Andrews but nah, couldn’t be” then I saw the background! Is this random Sound of Music art on Mariner?

I took the pictures with an iPhone 13 Pro. That shot used the 3x optical zoom.
Awesome news! I have an old gal iPhone 11 Pro that is (expectedly) showing some signs of aging and am now thinking replacement will need to be in the works before we go. It only has 2x zoom and OBBBVVIOUSLY I need that 3x! Gorgeous photos!

loves all things theatre & dance. Super extroverted, can't wait to meet other kids on this trip and be lifelong SnapChat friends.
Hah! This made me laugh! I was/am also an extroverted musical theatre kid and definitely still follow at least 3 kids that I met on vacation in 2005.

I love your daughter’s Pierce the Veil t-shirt, they’re from my hometown! While I don’t listen to punk rock, my husband does and he actually grew up with the guys in the band. The drummer was voted “Most Likely to be Famous” in their senior yearbook, I wonder how often that’s actually true!
