Used the Key for VIP seating in Main showroom for Saturday Night Fever show.  Great seats, show just okay.  The today went to dining room for our departure breakfast, it was great!  Then after breakfast we asked host for our escort off the ship.  He said they would be right there for us, but after 10 minutes waiting I asked another crew member for help and she got on her radio to get us an escort, but when no one was available, she escorted us off the ship and straight to our luggage in the luggage holding area.

However, I would buy the Key program again, the extras were all worth the price!

Used the Key to get priority tender boarding.  Went to Guest Services and we were escorted down to the front of the line within 5 minutes.  We were on the first tender ashore!  No getting a ticket and waiting in the theater or lining up or any waiting at all!

Ok, went to our first show in the main theater on LOS tonight.  There was no sign indicating The Key, but there was a sign for suite and high end loyalty cards( I forget the color). I asked the staff member checking id’s where Key holders sit and she said right here and let us in the VIP reserved area.  Balcony seats in the center section.  Score!

The Key program on LOS for our trip right now.  I think it is worth it. Internet is slow but functional.  Priority boarding and carry on bag check great.  I was disappointed that the private time for Flowrider was only from 9am - 10 am on Day 2.  Only time all week.  Same time for climbing wall, day 3 only and Ice skating at 7:45 - 8:45 pm on Day 2.  I thought we would have more opportunities.  On Day 2 now and will check out priority seating for the show tonight.

Wine generally runs around $12 per glass (and up). We like a glass or two of wine with dinner and because my husband and I have differing tastes, we almost always buy it by the glass.  2 glasses at dinner, a pre-dinner cocktail and a beer by the pool adds up to close to $40.  Add in a couple of bottles of water, a specialty coffee and fresh squeezed juice (and/or a mimosa or bloody mary with breakfast) and we reach the break even point pretty easily if the price is less than $50 and don't really feel drink fatigue.

Going on Liberty OTS end of April and just got offered bogo 50% for deluxe package. Purchased it for wife and I. Total price $388.22 each.  Therefore about $49 each per day.  With us drinking about 3 mixed drinks, 2 glasses of wine, a couple specialty coffees, bottled water, fresh squeezed juice and sodas per day, we should be happy and $$ ahead! ???????

I usually have an old hotel key card or a grocery store card in my wallet that work fine.
MSC Seaside reads the RFID of the card so it requires a proper RFID card in the slot.  Not so on Royal ships.

Those light switches finally give the Park West advertisements some use other than trash can filler.

I always keep my business cards in my backpack and end up using one of those to keep the lights on. Even when I turn off the power to the whole room I just pull that card up and not all the way out. If I put my room card in it inevitably leads to extra minute walks back to the room to get my key I forgot.

On the ships I’ve sailed that had the key card any card would work. We just used an old Sea Pass card.

    Welcome to the message boards!
On Liberty, only the newer cabins that have been added in the last few years have the key card interlock for lighting in the cabin.  All of the original cabins do not.
