Very, very bad idea.
Complete slap in the face to the UK market. And we get stuck with the cr*p Anthem instead. There go my plans to do a Scandinavia cruise on ID.
Which ship to sail now?
Why is the anthem cr*p? We were thinking of doing the ovation..
i think a change is good the Indy as been here for ever now..

My son did it in 2 cruises one 14 night and a 13 night solo in a JS, TAs are great value to increase status
-
Maybe they should have a “super pinnacle” status

They must of changed it then as we were home before 9am and self assist were definitely off well before 7.30. I can't remember going through customs we just walked off got our bags and straight out of the terminal
No one gets off the ship until customs have setup and give authority..
A few years back on the Indy, customs computers were down was 10am until anyone got off

From 7.30am customs don’t start till then

I was wondering if you could do this
We stock up on water for excursions, cans of coke which some places like the doghouse sell and lots of bottled beers..need to get your moneys worth..
-
If you have the package get a few bottles while strolling around ask for caps on then stock the fridge up and enjoy on balcony, remember the bottle opener tho there was not one in our Oasis cabin.

I've seen a lot of folks have issues on the last night of the cruise too..... due to people placing their luggage out early in the evening (too early in my opinion)
We plan for the first day and the last night, the crew do a good job generally

Do us wheelchair users a favour and don’t leave your trays in the hallway it’s a bloody nuisance.
-
They take anything £$€ we found they really don’t care..
Also they use local currency when they get of the ship so £ and € will be welcome

And to be honest..if your medical situation is that bad..where just breathing in some second had smoke will cause you to fall down and die on the spot, I recommend not to venture out of your hospital room or house.
Wow you really have no understanding or care of what passive smoke does to non smokers.but then again why I am surprised?

Once one the serenade from Barcelona only 5 teams entered it was great fun cause it was easy to follow
-
We are lucky here in the UK no smoking inside on ships, which makes some areas mainly the casinos out of bounds for us on cruises out of the US, needs to be banned, smoking kills passive smoking kills but that’s just my opinion.

Next time try this UK number 01932 834200 it’s only in office hours just ask for Royal Caribbean and they transfer you..

One good thing I’ve discovered is on the RC Australian site you can book accessible cabins which is great and the prices are comparable with US prices saving us in the UK about 40% that’s if I can actually complete the booking online when booking from the UK?

4 years ago we did B2B on Radiance...around New Zealand and Sydney to Freemantle. Loved every minute of it but we were sorry we didn't finish the circle around Australia. Except we really enjoyed Perth so it worked for us. This year we did some land touristing in Melbourne and Sydney with our son then we cruised from Sydney and circled New Zealand again on Ovation. The Bay of Islands is beautiful and a not to be missed site. We were sorry we didn't stop in Picton, New Zealand this time but we did stop in a few different ports that we enjoyed. Not a big fan of Lord of the Rings but Hobbiton is well worth seeing. Whichever cruise(s) you take, I am sure you will enjoy.
I like the look of the B2B Ovation 9 night NZ and then the 14 night repositioning to Singapore via Brisbane, Airlie beach, Cairns and Darwin

Are you looking at 2 different cruises to cover Australia/NZ?
Yeh, looked at the top end Sydney to Brisbane way which looks great, not sure there much more to see on the full circle..?

Booked 4 years ago but the wife was not well enough to travel the 24 hours, so I think it’s about time we booked up again, not many Ship options for 2021 but our favourite ship will be there then the Serenade, any advice on which itinerary? Plus we are going to need business class for the wife so she can lay flat looking at Singapore Airlines as they offer a good stopover package in Singapore which we’ve done but want to see more..

they are working around the clock as it makes it’s way to dry dock. They may make it look presentable by May 5 but I dought the Aqua show will be up and running. As others mentioned it is a highly technical under/over water show. However. The performers are suppose to board the ship Mid to late sept. So there may be some type of scaled down show at the aqua theatre if it is not fully functional.
Don’t see why the performers would join that late it goes into the scheduled dry dock from the 22nd September ?

You can’t upgrade or downgrade in this region without cancelling your booking. Annoying but I have had this discussion a few times with RCI. I suggested they review their policy but I’m not holding my breath.
That’s just mad, so many people book a low grade cabin and upgrade if they have extra cash towards the date...

So I’m guessing the Ovation is coming to the UK 2021 as it’s repositioning from Sydney to Singapore March 21 and not to Hawaii as usual..
the Voyager is also doing its usual repositioning to Singapore in April 2021 for the season so I cannot see the Ovation staying in Singapore.??
