I ALWAYS wanted to ask this question to expert cruiser.. maybe I should start a new thread but here we go. 

WHY is it that Nassau gets such a bad review? I only visited Nassau once - we purchased a day pass at Melia resort - and experience wasn't all that different from other port such as St. Kitts, St. Maarten..

Am I missing something about Nassau? Cable beach was beautiful!

Coco Cay will welcome both Anthem AND Mariner on the same day later this year.. we shall see what happens! 

I will be on Hermony in September and it will be just our ship that day. yay!

I am having this issue too..

I can see cruise ships getting bigger than Oasis class. however, it looks like Oasis class will be the largest ships for foreseeable future.

yeah. Bliss and Seaside are comparable to Anthem of the Seas or Liberty of the Seas.

my thoughts exactly... I am guessing they are unable to travel the day before for some reason.

1. Yes, the aqua theatre has two screens that show movies and glorified YouTube clips during the non show times. And as you’ve probably seen, there’s only a 50/50 chance at the show happening on a given night, so he flexible. 

2. Definitely park cafe. Especially if the family is good without the traditional hot items (waffles, pancakes, eggs) as Park cafe is mainly sandwiches, cereal, pastries. 

3. We had lots of luck right when they open, just line up a few minutes before. Don’t forget about the flowrider. Get signed up early and keep the wristband so the kids can just get in line right as they open. @Matt‘s going to become a flowrider expert in the next week.  Port days are another great time for these activities  

4. Even sometimes if we showed Up at 11am there were still chairs. Because the ship is so wide, there’s so much more space for chairs.

I will be on Harmony in 197 days and...CANNOT wait.  it is almost as bad as football week.  I can't get any work done!

I have done most of research/study on Harmony of the Seas but still have couple more questions for experts on this awesome blog.

1. Do they show movie at night on Harmony? I love this "Movie under stars" when on cruise ship but I noticed screens are located at Aquatheater where they have productions shows nightly.  

2. Which one do you recommend for breakfast if we want to avoid Windjammer crowd? Johnny Rockets or Park Cafe or Mini bites?

3. when is the best time to try Ultimate Abyss/Zip Line/Rock climbing?

4. pool deck chairs are GONE by what time on sea day?

My wife has already delivered the dog to her vacation location! She has also had her traditional leaving for vacation panic over what he have forgotten so if things go as usual we will figure our what we have forgotten in about 2 hours which is good because it's currently 4 hours before we leave!

I personally think action river is 1000000X better than lazy river.  Roa's Rapids in Aquatica water park in Orlando might be best water attraction I have ever experienced.

hello!

I was doing a research on Cozumel excursion and came across this excursion which is Royal official excursion. it looks fun and reviews are great but I wanted to ask if anyone on this blog have done it.

do you recall how much time we actually get to spend doing snorkeling and at the beach?  there are beach toys/inflatables that my kids will want to spend at least an hour.. any less than that would be disappointing!

ohhh I was too confused and curious I had to look up cruise compass.. and it was 4 night cruise indeed but no Sea Day.

Day 1        Day 2         Day 3          Day 4             Day 5

Miami    Nassau     Coco Cay    Kew West       Miami

Got to Nassau the next a.m.   That would make it day 2, but only 1 night

We than went to Coco Cay. Again we docked early.  Day 3, 2nd night.

Day 4, 3rd night we sailed to Key West.  Sea day.

Day 5 , Key West.   We sailed that 4th night back to Miami and arrived back to the port by 7-8 a.m.

Hence, it was 4 nights.    

huh I am confused. 

Miami - Nassau - CocoCay - Sea day - Key West - Miami     

 I count 5 nights..lol  sorry if I am not understanding it correctly..
